Farah Named

how about this… alll origin/test teams name a 30 man squad and no one outside that squad can play- no matter if you have 13 injured blokes (highly unlikely)

why stop at 30
Why not 50
Do I have any other bids…..............

No different to if farah is injured at training next Monday. ….it's a day by day scenario at the moment....obviously as next Wednesday draws nearer a call has to be made either way...As it stands at the moment. Farah is NSW 9.
lol at qld paranoia

Question Ink

If Ennis is moved into the NSW training camp on Wednesday or Thursday would that change anything ??

I don't have an issue that Farah should be given as long as possible to declare his fitness , but teams should have to name a list of players who could be replacements and then choose from that list

It would change…because then how could he be named for cronulla and thus cut out the probable suspension he faces?
Maybe as stand by?
Hinchcliffe has been brought into the squad however

HT, we would do the same… I think we did one year by leaving a jersey un-named until the suspension was over.

But anyway, NSW are cheating SCUM!

I doubt robbie will pass the fitness test. and if he does i have serious doubts his hand injury will hold up to a full half of footy let alone the whole game. When his hand starts to hurt it's going to be tough passing the ball out of dummy half constantly…. tackling constantly... He wont play. But ennis anywhere near a rep team is just insulting to players with talent. I cant decide between ennis, Steve turner or chris walker as the least talented player ever to play origin.

not happy with 30?

I feel for Robbie. The timing of this recent injury is so bad. Part of me wants him to play because he deserves to be in the decider, but the nurse in me wants him to rest, heal and recover fully!
If Ennis is the one to replace Robbie, then NSW is in trouble. 😱pen_mouth:

We learned it well from Qld, and having a long memory :roll
Or was one of those rules that only qld was supposed to use ????

big call to go into a decider with such an important player/role being so cooked.
50+ tackles with a sus shoulder and a busted hand.

bad news

I do think that if Robbie does play, he will end up doing damage to his shoulder and hand injuries.
Which will put him out for the remainder of the season.
I really hope that I am wrong.

So once again, does any club team, benefit from having players missing due to origin commitments ?
**NO.**

Robbie won't play , but I'd rather anyone but Ennis got the spot, he's almost as big a grub as Miles

Can't understand the Ennis 'grub' stuff. He has never been a salary cap cheat like Smith, Slater….a double grub salary cap cheat + wife beater like Inglis, a drug cheat like Gall??en or a serial cheap shot merchant. He had a run-in with Hindmarsh but ol' Nathan has proved to be quite a tool in his own after- career stuff so it really doesn't surprise that someone called him out as a flogger on the field. Ennis is a hard as nails competitor and if unfortunately Robbie can't be fit enough to play NSW won't lose too much by giving him a run, he is the sort of bloke you would want in the trench next to you. All the best Robbie, but if not....GIVE EM S##T ENNIS!

He gets in players faces a lot thats for sure. He's a niggler and unfortunately he costs his team a lot of penalties.

His biggest problem apart from being an absolute fool, is that he gives away too many stupid penalties at crucial times. Being a niggler is one thing, but losing your block when you do it and going over the top costs teams games as he has done in Soo. He is a liability and is likely to repeat his earlier bungles. If you can, have a look at his earlier games .
He's been one of the most disliked players in the NRL by the players themselves.
Just pray the game isn't close near the end, as he can be relied on to cost us a penalty in tight situations. A complete Tool.
As for Hindmarsh, whatever he does in that crap TV show aside, he was one of the most respected players in the Nrl( by the players)
And hardly ever got into much dirty stuff. But the day he wanted to kill Ennis, something was said in a tackle, which I think has never been made public by Hindmarsh .
Pity there was a referee on the field to save Ennis, as everyone on the field , from both teamswould probably have cheered Hindmarch if he knocked his block off

Hahaha, I remember it well GCT. Shame it didn't happen…
Refs.. They never let the boys have any fun.

Fade to black was that skinny runt at school who couldn't make any sporting squads…that's why he loves chopping successful athletes down.
Btw when it comes to origin, Rob is every bit the grub those you named are.

As for will he play? Nah its a ploy to ensure Ennis gets through the loophole. Feel for Farah but his hand cannot be strong enough after such recent surgery.

Don't worry, Ennis is a regular on NRL 360 and hasn't bagged the refs - he won't get penalised more than his normal quota

Didn't do too bad as a matter of fact in sport Stroker….can't say I've claimed to be a faux war hero/sporting legend/prizefighter like your good self. Many a hero has been born on the fields of social media.. good luck to ya. Farah hasn't even come close to being compared to Smith, Inglis, Hodges, Gallen etc in the grubby turdstakes- who are u kidding? By all means keep regaling everybody on this forum with your hard man fairy tales mate, it is great for a chuckle. Hope QLD get their arse kicked.....by Robbie or Ennis.

Someone in Farah's corner must believe he is a chance of playing or he wouldn't have had surgery

The Tigers have the bye the following week so he would have had 3 weeks for the injury to recover naturally

I imagine they will do a fitness test sometime either Monday or Tuesday and make a call then

I hope for Robbie's sake he is a fit enough to play , but if you think Qld players won't test it out by stomping on it whenever the possibility arises think again

And before the Qld grub thing starts , if you don't think any NSW player wouldn't do the same , think again

I always thought this game was played by gentlemen in a most sportsman like manner,I do declare I must remove myself from under the umbrella…...

I agree Hap,either team would try and expose a weakness and work on it,that's how you win games,SOO no place for the weak or faint hearted... :smiling_imp:

Well they tried to work him over when he played with a separated shoulder, and that didn't work. So they'll try again, and while I'll still call them grubs( because I like to), in the unlikely chance of him playing. He'll have plenty of support around him.
He knows better than most that , if you go on the field in any game , then you take your chance , the same as anyone.
You're right Hap. If it was a lowlife like Hodges in that situation, I'd be hoping that Klemmer would take him out during the national anthem ( or even earlier)
I mean that in the nicest possible way!!
