Farah/Taylor Thread...

It's not an either/or. Many of us support Farah on the field AND Taylor's decision to play Farah from the bench (or at least Taylor's right to make the tough calls).

Two things dominating the news at the moment - the election and the "feud'. At least the election will be done and dusted in a few weeks…..........

Farah is yesterdays hero. He knows it deep down but lives in past glory.
I think his life after football will go the way of the Elias or Ayoub.

Do you think maybe subconsciously you're doing just a little bit of racial profiling there?

Taylors comment about everybody's job being on the line may seen hypocritical if, or when the two halves return to their some of their previous form in games.
Maybe he should clarify just who " everybody" is
He must have a different definition of the word if his past record is an indication.

Or Kev goes back to chasing shadows in defence, because not everybody has their position on the line it would seem.

Interesting times ahead, now that the "favourites never get dropped ", regime has been Dumped…....Or has it??????

I don't know, it makes sense to me that Kev should have been dropped, but maybe it was considered that his attacking ability was a greater positive than his defensive negatives.

The Panthers were the first in line for Farahs services during the JT episode re Farah.

That's news to me. Are you saying Gus is favouring JT over Farah in the hope Farah leaves and goes to the Panthers? If Gus wanted him, he would be talking up Farah rather than JT. You're saying he should do the opposite?

What's that have to do with Gus?

It was widely reported that the Panthers were interested in Farah as were the Roosters, Titans and the Dragons still? Are you denying this?

Who cares if they were? He's still playing for the Tigers, hopefully only for 1 more season.

Not before we see JTs backside.

Lets see if your man Taylor has what it takes to rest Farah again now that our season is on the line..

Hilarious. If he rests Farah, he's a fool. If he picks Farah, he hasn't got what it takes.
Buzz would be proud.

As much as I think it would be great if Robbie moved on…. Taylor should be giving Robbie the number 9 as a mark of respect, even if starting him from the bench.

Robbie was great until he scored that try, then he went back to his overplaying old ways. Its like he's a child wjo cant control his excitement. As soon as he scored he decided to shut Brooks out of the game.

I dunno if I saw it that way… But it was one of those games... Very very loose, almostike touch. Opportunities everywhere. GNR called itit... Lots of points. Penrith were desperate. As Eddie would say, next week's Game against the dogs will be a different story.... He said that last week... And the week before.
Speaking of Eddie.... Haven't seen his usual. Critical 3 or 4 threads after the game this week... Lol

It seems like the more confident we got the better our handling was. I think Farah is fine with his role... Saw him just before he time at a scrum... Him and Brooks... He was talking WITH him... Not To him... As a part of the spine, not as the (c)... And he looked comfortable imo. He looks like he's accepted his role

Wish some here could

Agree Ink,RF seems happy to play coming off the bench, another good try by him, haven't heard him winge in the media or anywhere else..

I think Robbie should be starting. He is at this point the best hooker in the club and from what I've seen it's not close. At the same time I do think it's a good spot to have an interchange player coming on for a period of the game.

I'd prefer to see Cherrington or Liddle on the bench rather than Robbie.

With what Halatau is doing at the moment, no point playing him in FG. He only played 18 minutes last night. I'd rather see the likes of Felise/MCK added to the bench for a bit more impact.
