Farah/Taylor Thread...

Not that you would wish it on anyone. But if a career ending ending injury (ala Watnough) was to occur, he would get his 900k, it would not count towards the salary cap and he could ride off into the sunset and become the medias rent a quote (sort of like Anasta) when there are any stories about the tigers.

I have been a supporter of Robbie over the years but he has lost me here......

Mate, get over it. Your still there at Number 9 and we have lost more then we won with you there this year. Maybe should ask him about that.

Halfway through the season and he is beating his chest saying he doesn't forget yada yada yada. Even if he thinks that he should not be saying that in the middle of a season.

There just ego driven comments and ignorant. I don't even care if its true. Half way through the season just say no comment. We have just had a really good win and this rubbish is bought up again.

If I was the club i would consider fining him for these comments.

I have been a big fan of Robbie but I like to see how things transpire, I dont lock myself into an opinion. And Farah has lost me here, its just really un nessesary for me.

havent read the rest of the thread so dont know the comments but Eddie i 100% agree with all youve said.

i too was behind farah but this has completely turned me around. what an absolute disgrace. comments like ''if i played reserve grade it wouldnt have been my fault'' etc

the club has finally put together some good stuff on the field with back to back wins and then we're subjected to this absolute crap from robbie. making everything about him and rehashing old wounds for the world to see.

Attenion Robbie: Matt Ballin has won 2 grand finals and also played Origin. If it wasnt for being behind the greatest hooker ever seen he probably would have played more then you. How arrogant are you to say he shouldnt be in the team.

the club would be better off without him

Like I said I have been a huge supporter over the years.

But really this is childish from a guys that is 33 or 34\. In pre season I copped it because I thought it was still a bit raw and they would all get on with it like the professionals they should be.

How hard is to say "Mate, no comment on that Its done and dusted" ???

However he has put his ego in front of the club here. We have just had a really good win and supporters are waking up reading this.

If I were Pascoe I would be dragging him in and reading the riot act.

and thats the thing, we now have a game next week against the team coming 15th where we will hopefully have our first full strength team of the year. If we win we will be in the 8 with 2 byes up our sleeve. There should be nothing but good stories coming out of Concord.

Yet instead of good positive vibes at training before this big game there will be tension and media asking about this issue which was buried in fcking novemember last year! Does anybody seriously think the playing group wont have read this and be talking about it? I am beyond filthy about this.

It'd have to be this and next season. This is the issue. Whoever gave him that contract is a moron.

Every day, bit by bit, more and more people are waking up & seeing him for what he's really all about

100% ink. And i think as our blinkers come off, we see what every other club and supporter sees.

Certainly the reason it took NSW finally so long to pick him. Probably the same reason no other club 'snapped him up' at a bargain basement price at the end of last year.

They should say something to him but what they really need to do is tell him that he will not get another contract at the club and back that up.

It's up to Robbie how his time at wests tigers will be remembered.
He can either be remembered as a player who gave it all and overcame obstacles, and was a vital and influential player.
Or a player who clashes with coaches /staff, when he didn't get his own way.
His call.

Too late

Yeah, Ink your'e probably right.
Might even hear a lot more about it when he moves on from wests tigers. I hope not, but would not surprise me :unamused:

Very true - there is the makings of a great book when he retires.

Things are totally out of whack in Robbies world. :crazy :blah :bawling

Where's the 'shakes head' smilie? Embarrassed will have to do…

If I was in Farah shoes I would be keeping my mouth shut except for the odd positive quote to the media. He will soon be retired and looking for a job and he is well qualified to get a plum job at our club, but that door will slam in his face, if it not already

All of youse are making a big deal out of a nothing article. It just an excuse for all of the Farah haters to come out and attack the guy.

This forum is becoming pathetic.

"I'm professional enough to move on and understand he's the coach and I'm still playing there and I respect that," Farah says. "

That's the problem Robbie - you haven't moved on.

Good article
Even better to see his honesty
You jokers talking about our record without Farah have got to be kidding yourself
Take a look at our record over the last 5 years and see how it stacks up
Club legend so have some respect .

The man himself recognised that the contract he and his manager negotiated would be problematic at the time of signing, so why was the current situation a shock to him. Sure, the prior administration were a party to this, but they have been moved on, but sadly after they allowed the then coach whose recommendation they ignored was shown the door in terrible circumstances.

Whilst his form has been down for a fair while, that is not the major problem for a lot of us, rather what many perceive as a selfish ego driven individua, that we are happy to see gone, some as captain and others gone altogether as well. I have been of the latter opinion for a couple of years.

I wish him well playing for his supposedly beloved team, whilst sadly thinking it is now only the one that wear blue. I will remember his exploits, especially from when he was one of the very best players for a number of seasons,, but because of actions over the last few years, he has lost the title of club legend from me.

I'm sure that will greatly sadden his day.

We'll try and get an autograph for you.

The club is hoping our last game played this year which is at Leichhardt will be Robbies last.
But knowing how arrogant and stubborn he is they are expecting him to stay.

I hope he leaves and takes up a lucrative ESL payday for his retirement fund.

I keep stating I expect him to be here next year as well. He recently said he may even want a contract after that point.

The Weststigers are under new ownership and management maybe the million dollar man should realise this ..keep the destabilisation up Mr wonderful and you could be in for a real shock!

I don't understand when people are saying that JT handled the situation badly. From what I understand, they talked to his manager on the quiet. all of a sudden there was an article in the paper. I don't think the club would have leaked that…

This could have been all behind closed doors and only 1 bloke and his manager had any reason to chat to the press.

Sam Ayoub is responsible for the media leaks.
