Farah to Parra

I work with a Parra board member… Let me say this: IT'S... NOT... HAPPENING...

With all due respect, it wouldn't really be in said board members best interests to confirm that his club were in fact chasing the services of Farah.

You would be correct if it was going on the record like in the media but when CB is having a one on one conversation with a board member that he spends a lot of time with, I think it would be different in that situation.

You still haven't answered why he won't be 'allowed' to leave

I could not see Robbie playing for any other club in Australia. He deserves a contract with us for as long as he wants it, and if he then elects to play a period in England then so be it.

Ultimately it would be his choice whether to stay or leave when his contract is up but whoever wants him when that time comes, the Tigers will not let him leave without a fight to the death for him.

We get another decent promising young, fit, strong, cheap junior hooker coming thru the ranks in a few years, it'll be ''dont let the door hit you…...." ala Gibbs
Dont kid yourselves.

Yes because one incidence, of which none of us have all the facts at hand, is a concrete guarantee that it's going to happen again… :unamused:

Not only Parra, Newcastle will be in the hunt for his services as well..

Where are you getting that from? Newcastle is no where near Farah. Buderus is set to sign on again for 2013 & the Knights barely have any cap room, hence Mason being signed on just 40k.

40k, isn't that below the NRL minimum contract?

He's better off going to work in a Tinkler mine

get real Josh ,40 k on the books , and the rest in the old brown paper bag .If they wanted Farah they have would find the cash.Buderus is an old man ,but as usual the blues boys club will pick him along with bird and a few other has beens .
Buderus was slowing down 3 years ago , newcastle are not exactly setting the world on fire and suddenly Buderus is back in the clique .Thats why REP football is boring imo.

I agree with you on this ink.

And that is exactly the way it should be for us to be competitive in this _business_. The day we let yesterday's love dictate tomorrows direction is the day we die.

I know a few board members from different clubs, and they will tell you everything on the drink… Although, most speak in codes :sunglasses:

"Never be allowed?"

What, are the WT's his mother?

Money talks and Newcastle have plenty of it.

I think you mean "Tinkler" has plenty of it …. Wonder if he would do
To the Knights what he did to the soccer team ... Ie pull the rug when
He gets his nose out of joint

2nd tier contract for NSW Cup. Although Ian Schubert could block it coz he's probably gonna play NRL & 40k is under minimum.
