Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

Something regarding this coming up on the Matty Johns show tonight, probably just a reiteration of what was said on sports radio.. Maybe some more info though. Guess we'll find out soon anyway.

If it's true, What's the betting on Michael Maguire being the next coach sacked?

Quite convenient as well for Farah to be the scapegoat when Madge is already under fire from an underperforming Souths….Just like the Tigers for the last 2 coaches :deadhorse:

Sad day for the club.

True. But i still don't feel sorry for souths.

They are getting an origin player for $250k while we pay the rest …. How does feeling sorry for Souths come into it ?

Don't worry Knuckles it's just _yet another_ childish comment from the guy who thinks Farah is childish - go figure :unamused:

NRL won't register Farah for that amount under their Cap…More Like 450-500K

Tissue?

Souths only have 5 wins this year.

Be interesting to see if Robbie can improve them.

Change will be good for him. I wish him well.

Most Tigers fans will give him a great reception if we play Souths.

I find that Interesting Geo because the club now sees him as a reserve grade player. Surely Farah would be able to contest if no club is willing to pay more than $300,000 for him and WT s won't release him for anything under 450 it's almost a restriction of trade.
Clearly Farah is not a reserve grader, and while we all know the coach can select who he wants surely the club cant force a player to leave by keeping him in reserves and then not accept what is offered to him by other clubs.
It seems quite unethical especially when it was the club who signed off on the backended deal originally which they now want to offload.
Don't know if I have explained that very well _- but thoughts.

Restriction of trade ? Not even in the same post code .
The NRL won't accept Farah to be on the books of another club for less than what they value him at .
