Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

Bad luck Robbie you and your mate Ayoub came up empty this time.
All you had to do was pass the ball but no you knew best. You do realise that once you leave that's it gone forever and never to return.
Good luck with the new club, you will need it.

His play is purely centred around the forwards and forwards can't run it up and tackle their guts out without tiring heavily at the back end of each half. He was killing the team not only with that but with his pedestrian service from dummie half when he did by chance pass it wide.

Bye, Bye Wobbie I pity the Souths forwards for the next few years. :roll

Obviously this is good news. The club can finally move forward without the constant media spotlight on Farah and his fate. I'd like to acknowledge the outstanding contribution made by Robbie to the club over a very long period of time. At his best, he was the most talented hooker I've ever seen. No other hooker possessed his attacking flair whether running, passing or kicking and no one could question his commitment on the field or passion for the Tigers jersey. Unfortunately, my perception of him changed in recent years as a selfish and egotistical side to him began to emerge. In the end, it was best for both parties that he left the club. I wish him the very best at his new team and I hope he receives an appropriate send off on Sunday. I also hope, that after the inevitable farewell thread, that we don't have to read any more topics centered on him!

You've summed up my views perfectly.

If he goes to a side with a dominant pack, it should rejuvenate his career. I hope he goes well.

Well done Jason Taylor you knob!

Such a positive guy you are. Had a look back through your posts and it took about 4 pages of negativity to get to the first positive post which was about Leichardt Oval being the greatest ground on the planet. And that was on 20th December 2012…..You know, a little happiness could do you good. Chin up fella. The tigers players, coaches and club aren't that bad.

Thank you for your enlightened views Dalai Lama. So glad you can be positive when the club has treated Robbie Farah, one of the club's greatest and best players like dirt.

I think Robbie was responsible for a fair bit of the crap that went on. It was a 2-way street, philgood.

Pascoe is the best thing that has ever happened to this club.

Keep believing that

Sad to see how many people forget the good things he's done for the club. Been some bad ones, but the bloke has given his heart and soul to our club for over 10 years, helped us win our maiden final as a joint venture. The past few years, especially the last 12 months have been an ongoing soap opera to rival Bold and the Beautiful, but I think we need to also pay homage to the service he has given this club.

I for one, am glad this is all sorted, and both sides can move on. It's the best for both and Robbie can now move on and we can officially move on in the direction seen fit by the club and JT.

All the best Robbie, you deserve a great send off today and I know many supporters will be giving you the right sendoff.

Bittersweet day.

In one respect I am sad to see a great of club move on but he had to go. We couldn't have another year of this dominating headlines.

Best of luck Robbie at your next destination. Time heals all wounds and you will be remembered for the player you were at this club.

So…is that it in terms of scandals for the club? Is there anyone else who will put their hand up and give the Telegraph content next year?

I would also hope that the many fans out at LO don't boo JT,he has done well with the team and everything else that has happened during the year…

Thank you Robbie for your time at wests tigers.
You played in a Grand Final team and won a maiden a premiership for wests tigers.
All the best in your future endeavours, good health and good prosperity.

Yep. It's a shame so many supporters are giving it to Robbie. It shows a lack of class.

I still think that Robbie should be playing for us now and next year and we are a better team with him in the run on team.

I'm stoked though that this is over.

Maybe those that aren't his biggest fans can put away the negativity for just one day?

Today.

Spot on

I agree, and it applies to me.

It is sad it came to this, and I will have no qualms giving him a standing ovation from the hill today. He has a done a lot, he will join sheens and benji in the all is forgiven club for mine, and in a couple of years when he retires I hope we remember that over the years he carried us on the field, no matter what happened off it.

Yep this will be interesting. I'm sure there will be boos but let's see what happens if we win. Cause if we lose we could end up in 10 position and that will give those not in favour of JT ammo.

Agreed Robbie is far from a paragon of virtue but he has given more to this club than any other player.i wish him well for the future

I've been a critic of Robbies for the longest time but I'm glad how this has all panned out.
He will get a send off and deserved for his service to the club but this move is long overdue. He hasn't really cared about club since being the NSW hooker. He was ok with mediocrity as long as he was the top dog and unchallenged.

Good luck Robbie and goodbye.
