Great game. He had the balls to play unlike buderus who thinks he is bigger than the game. Beds struggled five years ago and they want to pick him at 34

If today's game is even a little bit of a trial Farah & Woods have just played themselves into NSW & Lawtence was stron as well

Based on today, yeah he should be the number 9, he and Pearce worked really well together

Ennis was injured apparently GCT, which was why he didn't play.

Today was Farah's best effort for some time, I reckon. However, I'd be surprised if Buderus doesn't get the nod.

If you were to play a hooker of the bench to spell Buderus, surely you'd go for a creative player like Farah rather than an Ennis-type toiler.

Yes, Farah and Pearce do work well together and Pearce publicly stated this last year, but those goose NSW selectors opted to put Ennis with him instead :crazy . If Pearce is selected at half, then Farah **must** be the hooker. Originally, I wanted Mullen at half, but Pearce played really well today and probably deserves first crack.

I think it's a very minute chance that Farah will get selected.

I did read in the Herald today that Stuart has gone cold on Ennis and that if Buderus doesnt get selected, it will be Farah.

I'ts amazing - I watched the game - Farah was in everything and his kicking game was off the hook - Pearce - well, he was the last pass for pretty much all of our tries. Good work, but catch, draw and pass twice, followed by a couple of decent passes a HalfBack should make.

Nine news sport - "Pearce Pearce Pearce Pearce, Hayne, Carney, Pearce"

No mention of Farah.

which sums it up for me as Ennis will be Hooker for State of Origin. :unamused:

My signature is starting to become relevant again….. FMD

Don't despair yet, UD. I think Ennis is out of the picture, tbh, so Farah may still have a show even if it's off the bench to replace a tiring Bedsy. If they end up picking Hinchcliffe for that role, like I originally thought they would, I will be livid! He was MIA today and his selection in the NSW team would just prove that City v Country is a load of BS as a true trial for Origin.

Agree. I can't work out why Buderus is coming into calculations, he's been ordinary in the games I've seen Newcastle play this year. Farah has to be there IMO.

Buderus,no tries,no try assists,no line breaks, no line break assists this year, doesn't have to front up to get picked,Stuart has been well drilled by Sheens, what a joke, just like DCE on friday,Sheeens hang your head,it is bad enough for us Weststigers supporters, but now you are doing to Australia.

Yeah that did my head in last year, they fit together really well, there's lots of good direction in attack, shame Junior Junior doesn't want to play for the Tigers.

If he's not picked, then yes, they may as well chuck the city v country concept out the window. Pearce for 7 Robbie for 9 and Carney I'd say for 5/8.

I agree Carney Pearce and Farah… but the C v C concept has been a farce for years. Especially when Skando was the BEST FORWARD on the paddock when he played..better than all the other props...and they picked deadbeats in front of him..a DISGRACE.

Agreed, Willow. Why go back to what has failed in the past? Time for Robbie to get another crack at it.
