Farah wants out..

Wests will be here long after Robbie hangs up the boots.

No player is bigger than the club. Love him to stay but as mentioned earlier there has been of history of RF v xxxx. I remember reading recently that a large chunk of the blues dislike him aswell?

Let's say 50% of all this is true, it's still an ugly picture being painted of the bloke.

The fact he didn't turn up for training, at the very least in a big jacket sitting in the stand says a lot to me.

It's ok simon you tiger! At one point you pulled down your Benny poster to stick the Robbie one up and I can promise you the Robbie one will have to come down one day.

I may not agree with you often Simon, but I agree with that post under the circumstances. Until someone comes forward with evidence I think it is unfair to bag him out. There may not be any evidence. Innocent until proven guilty.

This place like the club is in melt down. Farah and Potter both need a break from all the crap that is flying around at present. Iam sick of reading what Farah said or did not say based on rumor and hear say.

You dont treat anyone like the way Farah has been treated over the past five days, but to do it to Farah, our greatest player ever is insane. This snowball is now out of control and I get the feeling their will be a sad ending

Im more disgusted with tiger fans treating Robbie like rubbish than the media…they are just scumbags out for a buck but Robbie is the most loyal tiger ever and deserves our backing...

So called fans believing the tele over our Robbie is just awful.

Ive never felt LESS proud to be a tiger fan.

Just pathetic...really.

Farah's no show at training just tells Matt John's. Kent. Richie. Roth field Tallis and co they've won.

He's our leader. ..get the …...back to training and LEAD, we've got semi finals to qualify for

Well said Simon. It is amazing how many fans complain about dramas at the Tigers but the first opportunity they have they spread unsubstantiated rumours. Robbie is obviously in a dark place & deserves all the support he can from Tigers fans. Time to move on past this.

Don't agree for a reason. If he is a victim, I think this is a time for him to get away to clear his head, besides he has Potters blessings. What do you want him to do, give in to the jermos and come back. Whilst I want him back his actions fit those of a person that might be innocent.

How bout some of you stop being so self righteous, you sound like a bunch of old women ''oh our Robbie blah blah blah''. You're the type of supporter other supporters laugh at. Doesn't matter what your opinion is, whatever it is, its the result of feeling passionate about the club, so stick all the ''so called fan'' bs. Don't think anyone who posts on this forum isn't a fan.

I think we all have this arse about. It's not Robbie's job to support the coach. It's the coach's job to support the players and get the best out of them each week. Some of the people on here need to give themselves an uppercut

Robbie knows the circumstances of what has happened and what has been said in the past and the present. He may or may not have said this or that. When I look into Robbie's eyes and see his facial expressions I see a man who is backed into a corner with no escape in sight. He's hoping the ground will open up and swallow him, but that won't happen. His head is spinning at a rapid rate not allowing him to work out fact from fiction. I have looked into those eyes and faces many times before. IMO Robbie has acute anxiety and needs specialist assistance to get him through this period in his life. I will be praying for you Robbie, you are my champion.

Robbie has a university degree in business economics. I think thats where his future lies. The NRL is a business and i would love to see him continue with our club in some position of that kind. I don't think he would involve himself with full time coaching after what his been through and seen at our club. Would really like him to stay on and help our young hookers coming through though as he' an awesome player.

Then why can't he come out and say that

How hard is it

**" I wasn't happy with the way that Mick was coaching at times last season but things have changed and he has had a positive effect on the club as a whole "\
\
"I totally support Mick and hope he gets a contract extension into the future "**

Does Robbie have an "Arthur Fonzerelli " complex , can't admit he isn't always right that he is occasionally wrrrrrrong .

it doesn't take a genius to figure out that robbie always has been an arrogant and over-confident player on and off the field however i think this year he has matured out of sight and is taking a bit of a backward step on both fronts for the benefit of the team. This has been obvious since round one where he has been willing to contribute to the team more so than ever whilst also giving others (brooks, teddy, austin) a chance to also make the big plays whilst off the field he has elected to stay out of any decision regarding the appointment of our 2015 coach. This hasn't been something we could always associate with robbie in the past. However i think he is now suffering for his past attitudes and behaviour (i.e the sacking of tim sheens and the role he played) with the media inclined to falsely single him out as the person trying to oust potter. They have absolutely no proof that any player is trying to oust potter yet they continue to "run their mouths" in order to sensationalise the whole drama and sell more papers and boost tv ratings on pathetic "footy" shows like the matty johns show.

go onto the wests tigers official website mate and have a look at the unedited version of his interview on saturday (before the drama imploded) and tell me what more he can say to show support for the coach without being accused of "trying to manage the club".

People don't know what they bloody want. Don't show enough support and be accused of heading a revolt; show to much support and your trying to manage the club. Seriously feel sorry for coaches and players…

But we needed to hear this a week ago Tony

This has been burning for a while now

As I said to you in another thread , I don't think Farah wants Potter gone

I reckon they probably clash a bit , but that's a good thing

Passion and caring about what you want isn't a bad thing

I think we are both on the same page Tony , but I reckon Robbie could of stopped this getting to where it got to if he showed more support for Potter at the post match v the Dogs

I agree this would have all gone away if support was shown for potter earlier but were they asked for their opinion before this week ? How can they show support if they aren't asked the questions ?

I think potter is a dead man walking unfortunately but i don't think it is a coach vs players debacle however more so a management vs coach dilemma. For what it's worth it doesnt look like the players are fussed either way though and would put in the effort regardless of who was coach. That in itself shows where potter stands in the eyes of the players

Victim????

Please…dont make me laugh, whats he a victim of?
getting caught telling a little fibbie...big deal.

He is one tough hombre, you dont play Origin if youre not.
I want him to get back to training, lead by example and forget all this.

If anyones a victim here its Potter, who doesnt know what the hells going on with his job, doesnt know if he should begin looking for another one and after the bagging the club leaked about his professional abilities, isnt likely to get another one

Holy **** Tony, every time I see one of your posts I have to go put the kettle on. You're a machine!

From a massive good start to the year now this. Let us hope the side can turn it around. The whole thing upsets me greatly.

My vote goes for Board or Mayer vs coach not players vs coach (although there could be some niggles). After seeing a few player interviews and watching Mayer try to sweet talk Farah I'm tending to believe that Farah is right and either Mayer or the board (even if they didn't deliberately set him up) allowed him to take the fall. The time is now for Farah to stand up, thank Mayer and the board and directly endorse Potter. Controversy ended.

I find this whole saga pathetic ..where is the Captain of this team ? nowhere to be seen . Talk about soft …Farah is the only one that knew what was said and what has been going on behind the scenes. I could not care less about what or what did not happen all I want is the captain and leader of this team to step up and take control and show responsibility to the position that he has been given this is not a good look. The team has its back well and truly against the wall and some real leadership has to be forthcoming .
