Farah's desire to play for NSW still burns

Its a no brainer…Farah v Ennis v Buderis v Hinchcliffe...Ennis is a dog who offers nothing but niggle...Bedsy is past it and retired from SOO 3-4 years ago...so why is he back??...Farah offers by far more options in attack and his D is up there with the other two...and he has 4-5 years of SOO ahead of him...so what's to debate?...Hinchcliffe could be groomed as Farah's understudy!

Who is going better than Robbie?

Certainly not Ennis,Boods is ok,and Hynchcliffe is a reserve backrower.

Farah is obviously the gun of that lot….but is rarely mentioned in dispatches.

Im assuming its partly the tele doin there thing.

De Gois

Ditto.
The game is a boys club.In the 80s origin was a game you would sweat watching it was that intense, now who really gives a stuff about the result.
you would sit there and turn it off straight after the game because you didnt want to see the queenslanders basking in their glory .

Gee I hope so.

And I hope he kills it.

Scores the match winning try in game three to win it back for us.

He deserves it.

Gee Simon do you still put your tooth under the pillow waiting for the tooth fairy to leave you a dollar ?

Farah has been screwed since 2009 and it will be amazing if he makes NSW after all the crap he got from the media and how they allowed Ennis an origin spot.

Gees I hope he gets a chance this year…...but, he did struggle when he played for NSW. Has to get used to a different style of play and (sorry!!!) not being bthe lynch pin (sic) of the team.

Interesting comment by Jason Taylor in his Sun Herald column today:

"Then again, **a journalist told me during the week Stuart had gone off Ennis. He said if Buderus isn't picked then Robbie Farah will be.** Like Pearce and Soward, I don't understand why Ennis was good enough last year, but now he isn't."

Interesting.

I posted a week or two ago somewhere I reckon he's in with a good shot.
Fwiw I think all the crap with matt Johns has somehow worked in his favour…the right people liked what they heard, he's been one of our best consistently in a struggling team....the flair he was renowned for has somewhat been replaced with a tougness that Im liking a lot.
He wouldnt let the blues down....can Buderus play 80? Dont think so.

I agree. I am liking his toughness at the moment. He hasn't been explosive or anything but he has been tough.

Danny buderuses stats have been preety poor this year Robbie farrah has been much better than him he is an 80min player and a better defender and has better ball skills. The only reason Danny will get picked is because he has been there before. Not on form

Farah is playing strongly in the city/country match today.

If they have any brains he should be very highly considered for Origin. Its been a long time since he was there last. his overall game is different to then but not worse IMO. He has evolved in a slightly different direction which has made him more reliable. He may not be making 3 or 4 line breaks a game anymore - but who is? Its the little parts of his game that have improved and he is a lot more consistant now. He wont let the blues down…I am sure of it.

Farah is by far the best choice. He has been injured for two seasons and played on like the champion he is. Anyone else couldn't make first grade with those niggling injuries.

Hope I am wrong but he has clearly been marked "never to be selected again".

Even if Buderus suddenly went down tomorrow, they'd pick Gidley or Ryan "I play 5 minutes in two months at hooker" Hinchcliffe.

I don't think he is blacklisted, but I know after game 2 in 2009 when his injury was much worse than he let on, Bellamy wasn't happy at all and didn't want him in the side again. Now Bellamy is gone he should be good to be selected I guess, but his form since Sticky took the reigns hasn't warranted selection.
