Fatal Error

I realize this isn't in the correct part of the forum and i apolagize for that, but i can't actually get to the part of the forum this is suppose to be in. I've been having trouble for a couple of dayz, that whenever i submit a post it tells me a fatel error has occured and that i was timed out. Now it isn't letting me get to another part of the forum, as everytime i click on the forum icon up the top of the page, this same thing comes up. Again sorry for not posting this in the site and maintenance section, its just this problem isn't even allowing me to get there

Yep same here. I can only get into the forum from the homepage and clicking on a recent post on the side. Clicking on forum gets me nowhere.
This should really be in the site issues section but I'm sure a kind Mod will shift it over.

The drop down menu at the bottom of the page is helping me, that and what Yoss mentioned.
A nuisance but not the end of the world

Yeah the drop down menu has come in handy. There's a similar thread down in the site issues suggesting it has something to do with the server who hosts the forum. If it is going to happen it might as well be during the off season I guess! I'm sure it will be all resolved soon enough.

Yeah I've had problems too, only trying to get on the board index page though. Been using the drop down box and recent history pages to navigate everywhere else.

Gotta laugh at 'Fatal Error' though - does anyone else think the IT world is being a tad over-dramatic there? :laughing:

i'm also having problems ,the weststigers home page downloads fast enough but when i go to click on an article it freezes for about 30 secs,then works, also when i hit the forum tab it won't open.i don't have any other problems at any of the the other forums i visit ,only this one…

It's being looked at guys. I think it's a problem at the server end which Kul and Kaiser know more about.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but rather than start a new one….my wife is having issues with Roarfeed on iPhone 3G, has the app been updated beyond the version of IOS supported on the 3G i.e. IOS 4.2.1 ???

that was an odd one. The server suddenly started adding statistical garbage to the data stream.
Easily fixed once I figured out what it was, but still very unusual
