Fatty on who is going to win the tigers vs dragons game

On the footy show last night they were previewing the tigers vs dragons game and one of the panel members asked fatty who was going to win the game. Fatty said I don't think either team can win. The other panel members started laughing.

What an absolute wanker. I hope the tigers have a great season to shut up those wankers.
 
I turned it on when I got home from the pub, and the Brain Strain segment was just starting. I couldn't stop watching - it was like a car accident, I just couldn't look away. I was amazed at how stupid and unprofessional it was. Absolute load of garbage.

Even for that 5 minute segment where they run through each game, the odds, ins and outs etc, the LEAST they could do is show each team's lineup. Nope.
 
Can't watch that show. its a basket case full of embarrassment and cringe. Yet it competes for a logie year in year out. Someone must be watching it…
 
thats the first time i have seen any of the footy show in a long time. it just happened to be that segment that i saw. and it reminded me why i don't watch it. utter horse shit. he may not believe either team has a chance in the comp but have some respect for the blokes in their respective jerseys. and what was worse was Jamal Idris laughing when the lady said robbie had not returned to training because of boils. Hate the footy show hate paul vauten hate jamal idris hate the panthers COME ON TIGERS
 
Are we really concerned about this?

I'm not..

I know were in for a much better season than last, fatty has only seen that we lost benji and finished almost last, last year.

He is very shortsighted outside of manly…

I didn't take any offence as I never expected much from him in the first place.

He really has no idea about football, so it makes it a lot easier for us to produce a positive result with no pressure.

I'm not a fan of the show or vautin, but I'm pretty sure he'd know more about football than most people on this forum. To say he has no idea about football is pretty stupid.

I love the tigers but we do not have a strong team and are deserved favourites to get the wooden spoon. That's not being negative, it's being realistic.

The fact this show has gone for 21 years says a lot about what the other networks are broadcasting in competition with them. Clearly Thursday nights don't rate well otherwise there would be some decent tv shows on that night.

I hate Fatty as much as the next guy but get a grip. When you've been anchoring the bottom of the ladder for the last couple of yrs you should expect jokes like these.

God footy fans are so precious when it comes to their teams.

I don't mind it. The more everyone writes us off, the better chance to beat expectations. I feel worse when everyone talks the Tigers up, we have never been that team, you need to be good for 5-6 consecutive years to learn to meet expectations, not the 1-2 year flashes we have.

Prime example last night…
Everyone on 5 in the bin agreed the bulldogs would find it tough this year...

Although the point was brought up by the spectator in the panel about the importance of a good fullback in your team etc. He had a valid point that everyone can see and they agreed that they may struggle to make the 8....

Five minutes later... Fatty states how he thing the dogs are in for. A big year... Top 4...

Either he is the minority that's right when everyone else is wrong...( makes him a genius, seeing what others are can not)

Or he's in the minority, being shortsided sticking by his mate des (manly days), when everyone else can see the struggles that they may face this year...

Seriously, the last time I saw something with an IQ in the same range as Fatty, I wiped, then flushed.

He is a first class moron, only keeps his job because of the fact. He is a lemon, parading as an orange. I cannot believe someone took anything dribbled by that potato to heart.
