Favourite childhood RL memory

Maybe not the favourite but I remember in the late 80s /early 90s there was this terrific theme song at finals time which was played when the players ran out (I used to go to every final, regardless of who was playing).

This theme stuck with me and I never worked out what it was...until a few years ago.
It is this tune which makes me think of a great time in league and a finals aura which I loved.

Oh yeah!!! They played it at origin too. Waiting for the teams to come down the tunnel at the SFS to that music still still raises the hair on my neck. love origin.

Probably getting Balmain's team autographs at WIN stadium when I was about 10 years old. I remember looking up at Paul Sironen thinking he was the biggest person on the planet.

Going with probably at least 10 family members to watch Wests Panthers play at Purtell Park Wests, Lang Park ,Neumann Oval Valleys , Bishop Park Norths , Langlands Park Easts , Dolphin Park Redcliffe , Kougari Oval Wynnum Manly , Davies Park Souths , Corbett Park Past Brothers in the 70's ....20 c admission .......daily doubles ...buying your program ...meeting some of the blokes the old man played with ...getting the bench players to sign your autograph book ....chips and chiko rolls ...we had people who walked through the stands selling all these things ...ice creams person ...drinks person
