does anybody know their contract situation?

surely andrew would be looking at some first grade time next year? gary belcher said he reminds him of glenn lazarus, a massive wrap! he could be another dave taylor imo.

he would be odds on to get a run in a trial game next year wouldnt he?

It is my understanding that they are both part of the Tigers top 30 for next season. They will train with the top squad in the offseason but lineup in the State Cup and we'll see what happens from there. I won't be surprised if either get a start off the bench in FG sometime next season.

Lets hope so,I like the look of Andrew especially, the Taylor comparisons could turn out to be true.

ive wanted this guy to be in first grade all this season! we needed him desperately..
i wonder if he will be there next year due to us signing moors though

Not sure about needing him desperately, but in time he will be a very good player in the higher grades. Don't think he is ready for the pace of NRL just yet, State Cup yep.

Not knowing how long he'd played, and I'll give him this he looked like hed gone for a while straight up, did you see how slow he was getting up to play the ball the back end of the first half?
Hes a way off NRL

I agree he's a little off NRL. But i am surprised Woods has been promoted to our top 25 ahead of him. I think Fifita is ahead of Aaron at this stage, but i do expect Woods to surpass him in a couple of years.

Folkes will whip both brothers into better shape and fitness than they've ever had, but they'll start in State Cup next season and I reckon they'll figure in FG at some stage next season.

Can`t agree Ink. A few reasons why he was playing the ball a little slowly at times, most of runs include throwing 2 or 3 defenders out of the way, trampling others and because he is so hard to get to the ground there`s always defenders blindsiding him and putting their shoulders in his ribs. With this happening on a regular basis I think he`s entitled to play the ball slowly on occasions.
Anyone who is not impressed with these 2 Fifita brothers is too hard to please in my opinion, take them both out of our Toyota Cup side and we wouldn`t be near as imposing.

Mate, dont infer im not impressed, Its not what i said…I was talking about them and NRL next year

Fair enough your entitled to your opinion, my opinion is that both Fifita brothers are far closer to being ready for the phsical nature of first grade than any other member of our forward pack !

Put it this way, Trent Merrin from the Dragons side will be a regular member of their first grade top 17 next season, I can`t see how he`s any better or more ready than what Andrew Fifita is ?

Agree 100%…..Andrew was outstanding tonight.....no wonder he was buggered....

I'm sure he could handle 20 mins off the bench in first grade right now......and provide Impact.....remember Laurie only better.....

Sirro....Woods hasn't been signed to the top 25 ...he's 18 still eligable for the 20's next year....
