Fifita...ooo how good

A big thank you to Warren McDonnell for bringing these talented brothers to Wests Tigers.

Canberra and other clubs were after them as well and thankfully we got them

Including the Storm & Manly. Who were grand finalists at the time.

Ever since 2003 when we had a massive group of talented juniors coming through, we have been screaming for a talented young prop capable of making an impression in first grade. 7 years later we have him.

I can't believe how good he is.
Our prop roatation must be up there with the best in the league. Gibbs / Galloway and Payten / Fifita.

I hope he keeps going as well as he has been.

The great thing is we seem to still have some size to come through in reserves. We seem to have plenty of depth in the forwards. Hopefully it is utilised right.

Did Cayless play at all this weekend?

Fifita was strong today. It took a fair bit to get him down every time. At the very least he pocked his head through the line which meant a good play-the-ball.

Is a real good bench

Is a real good backrow.

Agree. Fafita was great today and he really ads some punch when he comes on and seems really fit. Just keeps going. And, getting more confident each week.

Don't forget the Sharks who he actually trialed for…HaHaHaHa

I thought it was a bit too early for him to shine but I have been proven wrong. Hopefully his brother comes along soon too, as well as woods (who i thought was just as impressive in NYC last year). If they all develop we will have a talented pack

Fifita was very impressive off the bench today and despite carrying a bit of pudding around the waist, he's still very young and will gradually burn that off and harden up some more. He already shows very good upper body strength but he'll get stronger yet and has good leg speed. Really liking what I'm seeing so far and I hope his brother David can kick on too, he should have no problem for motivation watching Andrew out there.

Aaron Woods is another to keep an eye on once he gets over his hamstring injury. I don't expect we will see him this year in FG, but he's a very big unit who the club rate very highly and I won't be surprised if he's knocking on the door next year.

Has the makings of a top prop forward if he works hard and stays humble about it all. That run where he fended off 3 before offloading was special. After Galloway and Gibbs i think it would be fair to say that on form at least he is our next best option there.

Does anyone know if he signed a 1yr or 2yr NRL contract at the end of last years NYC season?

Hope we have this kid signed up for a while. He is a real talent. Other clubs will be lining up to sign up. Keep an eye on A. Woods from NYC when he comes back, he has almost the same amount of potential. Our pack will be awesome for years to come.

Very impressive! He always looks likely to create something due to his ability to fend and stand - once those around him start to read his style better he should be able to get attacking offloads away on a regular basis.
I also likethe way he is willing to run straight off Benji offloads.
It is very exciting to finally have a quality prop coming through!

Yep, four feet is looking more comfortable with every game. Expect to see alot more of those types of offloads from him. He was doing it at will in the NYC last year. Gibbs is finally playing to his potential, but Fifita is the most exciting forward to come through since Farah. I expect Simon Dwyer to be right up there too when he gets his opportunity. Where he fits in the sqaud though I don't know with both Fulton and Flanagan playing very well.

Very very excited about Andrew Fifita's future.
