Fifita

He's a lowlife

He came out 2 days after MacKinnon broke his neck, saying he deliberately jumps in tackles to land on his head to earn a penalty

Who says he's wrong? - he might have chosen the wrong time to say it, however what he has said about McKinnon isn't wrong.

Watch some other Knights games - My brother in law is a big knights supporter, and he brought this up over a few beers with me.

Ditto Beau Scott and Darius Boyd.

I can't help but think the reason Wayne Bennett is so affected is because he may have coached it.

Greg inglis was questioned about the same thing last year. Although he publicly denies it, in sure GI has attempted to gain a penalty in this way. Hopefully now he will think twice.

Sounds like he thinks he is suffering from Tall Poppy Syndrome ! or as they said on Hey Hey many years ago 'why are people so unkind'.

They better make the doors bigger at the Doggies dressing sheds to fit his head through the door !

Maybe that's why he was in the other dressing room at the tigers

Both his and Benjis ego couldn't fit in the one dressing room

Was amazed at his comment , anyone feel another SBW moment coming ??

Meh, can't blame Sheens or the club for letting him go based on what he was showing. He pretty much admitted how poor his work ethic was today, and that rather than the Sharks getting the best out of him it was more an epiphany brought about by the birth of his first child.

Even if we'd re-signed him he clearly would have walked at the end of the contract.

Nobody has.

The timing of mentioning it is completely the point. In fact, why mention it at all? Completely lacking in tact which is to be completely expected with one Andrew Fifita.

Fifita just said he wished he had gone to Union, Would be great signing him then he says that.

His statement certainly doesn't indicate that he is endowed with loyalty/enthusiasm to either club, Sharks or Bulldogs. He never showed much team spirit when he was with West Tigers.

How big is his ego he says he wished he joined rugby union lol and he only cares about the cash. Anyways who cares what he does he will prob of left if he was with us and plus we signed a gun young prop from them Martin Taupau and is way cheaper then paying 850k that is a waste of money and no prop is worth that this kind of cash this is only for the 1 6 7 9 not a prop.

He wanted more [he was shopping himself around for a full 12months before signing with Sharks - sounds familiar???] and got lucky with gaining a release due to other BS at the club!

He DID have a piss-poor attitude. [asked him why he isn't playing. his response: "Ask Sheens"[/quote

As I wrote on another thread, his heart was not in it when with us and the biggest reason was the split dressing room and his hatred of Benji.

He basically forced the club to release him and at the time it seemed no great loss. His attitude was it was Marshall or him and something had to give to clear the poisoned environment.

OMG, how big a tool is Fifita making himself look, Rugby are almost insolvent and never entertained signing him, he is obviously not the sharpest knife in the draw with this comment.
The Shute Shield is now apparently a 'amatuer' competition so if Andrew prefers the Rah Rah game then the Bulldogs should grant him an immediate release from his contract and let him join the Leather Patch Brigade, I am sure he would be a huge hit with the Old Boys from Sydney Uni, chuckle chuckle Guffaw Guffaw!.

He won't win many fans in the public eye with his comments, and I reckon a few Bulldogs supporters will start to question what they have got themselves into.

Give a few examples.

He had attitude problems at the Tigers when he was young and silly. Grew up a lot over his two years at the Sharks. The good news for us is we don't need him anymore. Our forwards and bench are going great guns. Good luck Andrew, wherever you go

Hello? Is anybody at home in your head? Are you really saying that players try to land on their heads and that Wayne Bennett coaches them to do it? Your brother in law knows this because he is a big Knights supporter and came up with this moronic statement after consuming an unknown quantity of alcohol and that's how you know it? You really should lay off the amber stuff.

As Snoopy would have said, "Good grief."

even if every player jumps in tackles to get penalties, you dont come out and say it like that 2 days after a kid broke his neck insinuating that it's mckinnon's fault!

like i said before. a grub who will be right at home in canterbury.

He has till round 13 to reneg on his bulldogs deal… If he means it he should reneg the deal and take off to Rugby... He is such a tool

I think that quote has been taken somewhat out of context and he simply meant he's been copping a lot of grief from Sharkies supporters for being disloyal and it might have been easier in that respect if he'd completely switched codes.
