Fifita

Yes tigers let him go but did they make the right decision long term. We still have woods. Which I prefer . Would we want fifita at around. 800k a season sharks got him for 2 seasons and I can't see him keeping the same standard for dogs for couple of yrs. if he gets injured the dogs are gone he takes to much salary cap .

Exactly some players are committed for a few seasons and drop off and done are career performers. I can't see fifita being a career performer.

happy we let him go, he would have just left us for the dogs for 800k (which we wouldnt have paid) in any case.

plus he's a poor defender, and is attitude still seems to be horrible. "ive done everything in league except win a premiership which is all i want, and win origin" good riddance, suits the dogs perfectly.

Tell yourselves whatever you need to feel better about it.

Truth is he was a massive loss and last nail in Sheens's coffin.

so you think he'd be at the tigers in 2015 if he'd stayed here? he would have been useful for us in the past 2-3 years for sure, but he'd be going to another club for more money just like he did to the sharks if he was here now

Sounds like he thinks he is suffering from Tall Poppy Syndrome ! or as they said on Hey Hey many years ago 'why are people so unkind'.

They better make the doors bigger at the Doggies dressing sheds to fit his head through the door !

Wat would u prefer. Fifita 800k
Or our whole bench
Ava Sue. Tapau. Gavet. And plenty of change. If th dogs are using a salary cap they r takin big risk

He is a loyal and intelligent guy, he is only leaving the Sharks because of the uncertainty surrounding the club. You look after a player like this with a decent contract at the right time and he will stick around.

At the time when we should have been tabling a decent sized long term contract we inexplicably let him go.

Good luck to him getting anything he gets after that point, we dont deserve to question it.

I cant believe the gaule of him to say he wishes he was playing Rugby after Bulldogs paid so much for him. At the time I was glad to see the back of him due to his attitude but it was frustrating how well he tore it up at the sharks but I think he is overrated atm

Tigers did the right thing at the time letting this jerkoff walk.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but at the time of his release he was a fat slob with a shocking work ethic and attitude. He had talent sure but he was not worth the hassle.
Dogs have signed a bloke here who will bring their club down more than T Rexx did.

He's been amazing since he left us, not sure why the bagging of his work ethic Stryker. Nothing wrong with it at the Sharks. I'd say he's matured a lot since he left us, and the way he plays proves it.

I'm done lamenting his loss, whats done is done. He stuck it right up everyone who didn't want him here and then some. Good luck to the guy.

Good luck to him we just pointing out would u risk a large chunk of salary cap on him Some players I would but don't think he will be as consistent as. Thurston. Lockyer. Johns for that cash

I don't think had he stayed he would have been in a position to be offered almost 1 mil a yr. The change of scenery worked wonders for him. He probably never would have matured the way he did had he stayed.

He's a lowlife

He came out 2 days after MacKinnon broke his neck, saying he deliberately jumps in tackles to land on his head to earn a penalty

Fair dinkum? I had a low opinion of him before as a person but for him to say that is as low as it gets.

Its been good at the Sharkies. What I was saying was that it was not good here consistently

hahaha… last nail in Sheens coffin?!

The club did all it was prepared to do to keep the kid... We offered an Upgrade to keep him and we executed an Option Clause to keep him...

He wanted more [he was shopping himself around for a full 12months before signing with Sharks - sounds familiar???] and got lucky with gaining a release due to other BS at the club!

He was NOT worth more than Aaron Wood in 2011.
He DID have a piss-poor attitude. [asked him why he isn't playing. his response: "Ask Sheens"]
He CHANGED his attitude upon arriving at a new Club [nothing says he would've had this attitude if he stayed]

It happens at all the clubs… Water under the bridge, get over it!
