Fifita

It was a poor game from him. Not sure if it's lack of trying. But as many others has said Groat was far more impressive

The fact Groat went so well may fire Fafita up. Sheens should tell him Groat is now higher on the pecking order - if he has any ticker, A.F will fire up and have a decent crack till season's end.

Oh! Yes?

When you are told to look elsewhere, you can respond in two ways 1) Fire up and show the people who let you go what a big mistakte they are making, or 2) Sook. At this moment, it seems as though he is choosing option 2\. Hopefully a bit of competition and a desire to be involved with our late season for the finals will fire him up

A bit harsh to compare the two, but Andrew didnt let us down. His minutes didnt help him statisticly wise, but he did his hit ups and made tackles while out there. I thought Groat was awesome though!

All the new bulls go running down the hill to check out the cows…

I think people are being harsh on a 22 yo prop with about 30 first grade games, it is a tough gig for a front rower, and young guys take time to settle, the weekly grind sees slumps, particuarly early in their career.

i think we got another glimpse of the future with young Matt Groat playing really well, I thought woods was great as well, I think it is for that reason the club was happy to let Gibbs and Groat go for big dollars

I like Fifita but ever since the Newcastle game he has been running to much sideways & this makes him an easy target for defenders to pick him off, i just hope he starts to run straight & carves up the opposition.

I think this could be the start if giving Groat more mins at the expense of Fifita, considering we don't need to develop Fifi anymore.

Like all young guys especially forwards its impossible to maintain the rage week in and week out, Woods went through a patch and now its Fifita's turn. Groat looks the goods but its unfair to make any real comparisons after just a few minutes of NRL football.

A month ago he was probably close to our best forward, okay he has gone off the boil, but I dont think its a attitude thing or the fact he is leaving at the end of the season, I put it down to a form slump that all players go through and he is also a target now.

I think I would rather see him being used wider of the ruck and running hard at the 6 and 7 and being creative off that He will be more effective that way and might rekindle his enthusiasm get him running over the top of blokes and using his palm once he has made a break going forward . Now theres a picture

Wow, how quickly you can lose the crowd!

I couldn't wait for him to get back on the field so we would get some more go forward. Fulton and Rhino were being put on their backsides fairly easily and we needed someone to run that little bit harder with some size about them. I thought his defence was a little sloppy though.

Great did have an impressive game, but the 20's need him so I don't think he will spend too much time in firsts.

It's amazing how fickle some tiger fans are!

Sheens will do the right thing for Groat and bring him along slowly. Fifita had an average game, but I haven't seen anything to suggest he's sooking or bludging. Big difference between what he's doing and what Teo did when he left.

I'm glad the coach doesn't get caught up in the stupid idea that if a player is leaving next year, he shouldn't play first grad this year.

Just needs to tweak his game a little. He rarely alters his stride pattern or body positioning and as such can get targetted by opponents video review and nullified.

Just some work and variation

I love Fifita! But I gotta admit he doesn't seem in to it as much anymore.
Woods had a great game, Groaty played alright too.
Fifita isn't getting the minutes and hardly getting the opportunity to impress.
I still regret letting him go, but BigMahn Begovich is gonna get us some! Hopefully Woods and Groat too haha.
Fifita will be playing origin in years to come if he lives up to his potential at Cronulla. Gal will take him under his wing.
