I was a little bit let down by 1917. It wasn't a bad flick but by the end it just kind of fell flat, much like the lead actor in many respects.

I haven't seen it - is it true that it's basically the same plot as Gallipoli?

All I can suggest is get in and watch as many classic films as you can before they are all wiped for social equality and historical cleansing

And keep your dvds, even if you have streaming services 🙂

That's it - I can't stand no more!!

BBC removing Fawlty Towers "The Germans" because of a "series of racial slurs"

"Don't mention the war"
I did once, but I think I got away with it

I think it was Major talking about the West Indian cricket team however. :disappointed:

The Platform.....

If you like dystopian movies that inspire depression stick your eyes across this one....

Subtitled so that's an added bonus.....

If you've seen the Cube, then this one is for you.....

Watched Midsommar luke very disturbing lol
Been keen on the platform trying to convince my wife.
The cube! Absolute classic

How about those people walking up the mountain??? I found that a hard watch!!!!

A few uncomfortable moments in The Platform but you just gotta get through it hahahaha

The Cube came out so long ago!!!! Age check on that one for me!!!

If you are a kid of the 90s.....I recommend watching

Pick it Up....Ska in the 90s

Great music documentary about a too short lived 3rd Wave of Ska....

or maybe it's just for the music nerds out there??

I found a lot of it hard to watch haha!
Especially the ending.the change of music was very ghoulish ?

The cube was saw before saw was a thing

Just watched the Aussie movie Occupation......

Craptacular.....

A mix of Red Dawn (the cruddy remake not the awesome 80s original) and dodgy Battlefield Earth type aliens....

Eye poke out rating of 7/10

Yea. The girl with all the gift is interesting

Just watched The Hunt

Hilary Swank is in it

Fantastic movie!!! Really surprised with it.....It's a similar type of movie to The Belko Experiment

Nothing too deep about it, just brain chocolate and easy entertainment

Didn't mind it. The mannerisms of the female lead were pretty funny.

I just watched a french film called "The Translators". Outstanding movie. Visually beautiful, clever. Great plot. Lots of twists and turns. English subtitles

Yes, not sure it was as good as the original, but plenty of underlying humour, particularly directed at the self righteous.
