Films Not Movies

90s were the best before technology. Now no one talks to eachother in real life. I didn't need a mobile phone, I'd swing past a mate's on my bike and see if they wanted to hangout.
Mate I didn’t have a mobile phone until I was 20..and that was a company phone. I would have been 22-23 before I bothered getting a personal one.
Same about catching up with people. Unless it was an organised party, I’d go out and have fun with whoever I ran into.

Damn, that Snow White live adaptation is doing really poorly.

$270M production budget + $100M marketing costs = $370M investment in the project.
As movie theatres take 50-55% of the box office takings depending on Country, this film needs to make at least $740M to break even. As of today, it has made $92.6M worldwide. To complicate matters, in one week the Mindcraft Movie is released. As shit as Mindcraft is, it is EXTREMELY popular amongst the kiddies. It will do huge business ala Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario Brothers. That means Disney has this week and weekend to make massive numbers before this competition drives it into the dirt.

According to industry analysts, Snow White is tracking for a return of $350-400M worlwide. They are looking at a monumental loss for this project of somewhere between $350-400M!
Couldnt happen to a worse company.

I saw a stat a few days ago (things may have changed since)

Stating its the lowest rated movie of all time on IMDB with a 2.1 score.

I'd say people are just destroying it without even seeing it. Serious backlash though.
