Finals Week 1 @ Leichhardt Oval on Sunday 7th Sept

Went to the game today. Forwards were good and muscled up all game. We had absolutely nothing in the backs and a non existent kicking game. The need for a couple of decent centres is essential for the club. Takarangi would be my pick. Wyong 5/8 Jono Ford controlled the game with his kicking game. Fiagatusa. & Santi were my picks . Gavet and Buchanan both good as well. Our halves were short of NSW cup standard. Sila, brown and taufaga cant tackle

exactly what i was saying all this year,Corey Brown is rubbish, thinks hes a superstar, last to warm up last on the field before kick off goes hiding in defense, Sila no idea, same With Taukafa , atleast he,s off to the Bunnies next year. There is a tough centre available coming back from injury and glandular fever . He is playing the 6 in Ron Massey to-day Jennings hope we keep him. Tough and uncompromising Australian schoolboy with Teddy & Noofa

Agree with hanging on to Jennings. He will be good next year.Glad to see Taukafa go. His reads in defence were woeful yesterday. We kept this guy and let koro go. Neither can tackle but koro was in a different league in attack. I was very impressed with the effort and passion of young Fiagatusa yesterday- busted a gut all match.

Jennings has played about 15 games in any grade over the past 4-5 years though, you know? Kinda injury prone…!

Had potential but will likely never realise it. Maybe worth another low level nsw cup contract though.

This team just never recovered from the lunatic decision to release Koro and Mr T mid season, who both could have done a great job in first grade or at least this level for the rest of the season. Halves were mostly awful once Moses and Austin went up a grade too. Farlow can't play 5/8, and Madden isn't up to it, Stevens hit and miss.

JENNINGS HAS HAD A COUPLE INJURIES,2012 @ Parra 12 NYC games 6 VBCUP
2013 5 RMCUP unlucky to suffer a syndomosis injury when Fletch told him he was playing reserve grade the next week , contacted glandular fever this year, i believe he deserves another year especially if he can stay healthy. And from reports played well at the 6 ,better than Madden or Farlow.

Pierre M7 you're a clown!! Koroibete, Naiyaravoro, Ben-Murdoch, Fine, Hithcox, Akauola, Moses, Austin, Waters, Jennings.. none of these guys played yesterday due 1st grade injuries and club changes. When they were playing earlier in the season we were racking up cricket scores against the opposition and touted as premiership favourites! LOL and you're a Tigers supporter are you?? pffft

Back in the day I was A huge fan of Balmain in the NSWRL Cup and livestreamed games and got off work early to watch the replays on Fox, in the 2 seasons that it has been Wests Tigers this has gone backwards.
Back to Back losses to Wyong Roos, god help me, I know that we have been decimated through the season with call ups to the NRL side but where the @##$% is our depth, I thought there was a 4 tier structure in place?, there has to be much more thought put into place for the next few seasons,.
Ron Massey Cup, Sydney Shield and Inter City Cup should have an ultimate flow on effect, crikey there should even be a decent A Grade comp in one of our catchment areas so that there is a natural flow of players up to the ultimate goal of being a NRL player.
For the last 4 seasons we have had one of the greatest rosters of Junior players with great success in the SG Ball and Harold Matts then onto NYC but where do the players go if they aren't up to scratch for the Holden Cup straight away, I'm aware that it costs $$$ to bring a player or players through the grades but you just can't cast off players without giving them a chance of realising their potentional.
Keebra Park and Holy Cross Ryde are great breeding grounds for players up to 17/18 years of age but we need an extra tier to keep the players in the system so they can realise their potential.
Apart from Group 6 because of their proximity to Campbelltown do we have any other catchment areas, I'm from Group 10 and we have been forced to become a breeding ground for the Panthers after they took control of the Leagues Club here, are we being proactive in the Narellan region with the Roosters trying to establish themselves in the region?.

You raise some excellent points Leroy.
