Today's game was a lowlight amongst a really enjoyable round of footy.

Expected though.

Can't wait till next weekend.
Should be interesting.

I liked the physicality of today's game

I thought it was inconclusive whether the ball hit the ground first or Gutho's foot.. and the onfield ref had ruled a No Try, so shouldn't have been a try IMO. However, the on-field ref ruled a No Try because he thought Penisini would not have scored- I personally thought Penisini overshot the ball and the hand on him had no impact on him dropping the ball.

All in all, if the on-field ref had ruled a Try, it would've been a Try but there wasn't conclusive evidence to overrule that.

I hate it when wrong decisions are made in the Bunker with relative stress-free environment...

I thought it was inconclusive as well and was happy to say he kicked it.

The ref said No Try because no try was scored and send it up for either a sin bin or penalty try. I don’t agree it was a penalty try as there was a fair bit going on around the ball.

Well this is as good as it gets for Para and there supporters .. a very lacklustre team that is suppose to be in the premiership window this is the second season they have struggled in the finals !
Us Tigers fans hopefully are looking up the ladder Parra fans are also wondering what’s the issue !

At least they won and still have a chance.
Newcastle straight out again…

I couldn't/ didn't watch a minute of NRL.

not because WT not there, but because I am no longer enjoying the game in general anymore.

The rule changes have gone to far and the Reffereeing standard is at it lowest ever.

My Titans are taking it down to the wire @tigger

Bad luck. You nearly got the double. They were both good games.

That's how it looked to me too. I can't see how you could rule that as a penalty try, but it was probably a legitimate penalty for tackling a player without the ball. Given the timing, the game was already gone for Newcastle and the poor decision won't have affected the outcome.

Viliame Kikau 100% potential 25% delivery on the field...commentators are the only one getting excited when he gets the ball...
