The refs got that one right.

It was a harsh call. Gaigai wasn’t even looking at him. He was looking at his outside man. It had no affect on the play and it cost Manly the game.

However, the sin bin was not on, penalty yes - Gagai took a dive - that then handed the game to "The Pride of the League (Joke, Joke). " There were many other instances where penalties were given / were not given that saw Souffs get the advantage. It was a case of "The better were beaten"

I'm just saying that maybe the hatred for manly doesn't run quite as deep as some might think

Once again the refs ruin a good game of footy, we're talking about a refs call instead of the cracking game it was.

Manly were the better side.

Very close to a penalty try, very close.

Should have been given a penalty try - the bounce favoured him and would have landed in his hands one metre out and no one in front of him. Penalty try every day of the week for mine.

Plenty of good players about, just matter or giving them a go.
However (once discovered) consistent good performers are had to find and then even harder to hang on to.
People bang on about how WT let all these great ones get away .... but when you check other team rosters you will find very few that are high percentage local juniors.
