Benny Elias has little to nothing to do with the current financial situation of WT. He is an investor in a project that will (hopefully) incorporate the Balmain Leagues Club. That's about the extent of his involvement unless someone can indicate otherwise.

I dont understand your "motivation" for covering up all the inadequacies of the Wests Tigers at the moment.Your response abbout baked beans at coles has nothing to do with the topic.Why are you constantly trying to deflect the "REAL WORLD SITUATIONS" that affect this club.Mr self proclaimed "I live in the real world" but Im also a corporate guru.
His"motivation" seems to be accuracy and common sense. His baked beans analogy is extreme but correct. Wests Tigers are not a club, they are a Pty.Ltd. Company. Buying a "membership" does not buy you equity, it buys you a seat at the games and thats what they owe you. If they run the business well you are more likely to buy that reserved seat or even may pay more money but that is the start and finish of it.

On th subject of common sense,the shareholders "the fans like myself" run this club.If we dont turn up to next game and tigers play in front of zero and dont buy merchandise or membership sponsors pull the plug quicker than you can say "shit hes right".Im sorry if the thought of the fan being the "real owner" of the club dissappoints you.Why is that?

Fans like yourself or me for that matter are NOT shareholders. In fact there are very few shareholders as it is a Pty.Ltd. company. Fans matter but are not shareholders. In fact substitue fans with the word customers and you are on the money, even with your explanation or analogy.
Is the word you are scrambling for Stakeholders? We are stakeholders, just as any customers are.
I'm not going to bother replying to the rubbish Karma Tiger has posted here. The newsletter sent out by the Balmain Leagues Club (posted above) explains the issue sufficiently. As per usual the same types blowing up about disrespect in the Magpies threads feel as though people like Elias are open season.
