I don't think Fine is getting big enough wraps for how well he played, especially in his first game.

Instead comments are focused around Farah's comments and it's become "Austin v Fine" for MOM

The guy played out of his skin and his stats back that up. He ran hard sometimes carrying twice in the same set, bent the line and defended well and even put on a couple big shots.

Barra and Peaches pick out a small handling error when i recall at least twice he did really well to provide quick hands for Richards to have an opportunity to score. I think if we had Koro or any other good finishing winger those opportunities would've lead to tries.

Especially considering the constant bitching about Lawrence, i thought his efforts might be appreciated more.

The thing is Lawrence has had to put up with that this year as well and he has copped plenty.

I thought Fine was good though.

Fine made more metres on debut than Lawrence or Simona have made all season. Says something.

He has never performed in the centers.

Only on the wing. He should replace Richards on the wing after next year. I would be on the lookout for a few decent centers.
