Great win. Surely everyone is now convinced we are contenders?

No.

I am very happy with our position, but we've beaten Newcastle, the Warriors and the Bulldogs - none of these teams will be playing finals football.

Not putting a dampener on things, just trying to keep things in check. I've seen more sparks in a blackout than the Bulldogs attack - they have absolutely nothing.

Our real test will be Titans and Dragons in a few weeks.

We really finished well. Our last 20 mins was excellent. Great yards and smart play in the conditions.

A couple of key moments in the final part of the game…
1\. Todd's defence and subsequent turn over;
2\. Ennis' crap play, running it on the 5th from dummy half for a turn over and Tiger's possession (nice one, NSW hooker :imp: );
3\. Noddy's knock-on; and
4\. Lawrence's tackle. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

PS - How good was it to see Idris sent flying when he tried to shoulder charge Junior??????

Yes that is all very well, but the key moment was the high shot which got us the penalty that that turned the game.

This was not meant to be an exhaustive list. Just a few things that stayed in my mind. Another 12 things could be added it, truth be told. Beau's athleticism to stop the 40-20, the Idris no-try by a fingernail on the dead ball line, the forward pass of the Dogs that was called back when they were on the attack… the list goes on.

Hybrid your right, but you dont want to be in sizzling form in june. Its all about a gradual build up to the big games. The big test is a few weeks away when we step up in class we than should get a good idea if we are really in his comp or not.
