i actually expected to lose today (dont know why). I didnt expect our defence to fall apart like it did though. I havent seen the game but, from the sounds of it, the issue seemed more discipline and ball control. It sounded like Heighno did some stupid things again and he seems to be taking Gibbs title in this respect.

I think considering our injuries we have done pretty well to lose by less than 2 converted tries.
Fitzy and Blake didn't click in defence at all. Send Fitzy to NSW Cup, he is not needed. At all. Useless on the wing, a waste of space on the bench.
Be nice next week when we get back Bryce, Liam & Beau. Flick Daniela, Fitzy & Cayless. Cayless needs a month or so in reserves, he's well off the pace.

It is interesting that Sheens went with Jason Shirn. is Al injured? Though it did sound like that jason acquitted himself well.
We definitely need to get more time from our bench. This is the type of bench I would like to see:
A. Fifita/ J. Moors
J. Cayless
A. Shirnack/ J Shirnack
S. Dwyer/ D Gower
For mine that is a well balanced bench.

Yesterday, I actually watched the last ten rounds from last year (except the Raiders and Cowboys games). I can tell you something - Tim Moltzen is no HB. In fact he has never played HB for the club. I didnt see him a first receiver once in the games I watched. All Moltzen good work in attack were classic fullback plays (i.e. great support play).

Lets just put this down to a blip and hopefully learn from it. Next week we should get our first team back on the park and the one good thing form this is that Sheens cannot ignore Fifitta and play him against Parra.
The Telegraph are going to have a field day with this game sending Carney and Pearce to the moon on a waive of praise and hype. As someone said put it in the memory banks for next time and concentrate on Parra on Friday.
