First Grade Live Game Thread vs Broncos

Woods has been the best Tigers out there for mine. Benji is dangerous with the ball but has been let down by some poor catching out wide. He needs to take the line on more in the second half and put a bit of doubt in the Broncos defence.

I've seen fullbacks in under 12s get hooked for not contesting bombs. God knows how a firstgrader can get away with it.

Thats not a send off Yoss….

Came out of the line and attacked the head of the opponent. If is isn't a send off it should be. You can't have players being KOed like that with no chance to protect themselves and at such a high speed.

It all went down hill when Benji had that brain snap and for some reason cut Lawrence and decided to go to Lote. All he had to do was short pass to Lawrence and he was in. Brisbane score a 100m try off that. We should be thankful that we aren't down by 22-4 as Brisbane have bombed 2 certain tries..

BMM has been great, and most likely will be playing big minutes today. Agree with Willow, woods has played well.

Come on boys, someone destroy Teo and I will be at least satisfied with the game. So far terrible.

Lucky to still be in it considering the amount of ball we have dropped. Still close enough.. BRING IT HOME IN THE SECOND HALF!!!!

well…only 3 missed tackles which i suppose is a positive. Lets hope they can replicate what they did against the dragons last year in the final...

Benji needs to hog the ball and forget about the outside backs…they couldnt catch a cold so far.

Once again it will come down to him.

With the Teo hit, I am a bit cranky that no one ran in and had a go at him. When you see your 20 year old prop layed out like that you should let the offender know his time is numbered.

Sad thing is we were good up to the big break and then instead of scoring Lote drops the ball, forgets that maybe he should pick it up or make a tackle and they go to the other end to score. 0-4\. Then Timid Tim stares at a bomb when he had a mile of time to catch it and it's 0-10

Looking at the replay Ben Hannant shouldered Marshall (I think) off the ball when he was trying to support Moltzen. Subtle but illegal.

And now the Moltzen highlight reel. Looked like 2 bombs uncontested, 1 bomb dropped, 1 ball stolen, 1 grubber dropped. Oh and 1 line break

I am hoping that playing this bad and still only 6 behind means the footy gods are going to be kind to us second half and we come away with a win…..... something has to go right fof us surely even if it means Moltzen catching the ball this half :brick:

I agree. They should have let him have it

Looks like anyone can knock out our blokes willy nilly, nothing will happen.

It's getting to be stupid, seriously when will something be done?!? They go on about protecting the head and we have to put up with this s*** week in week out.

Agreed, Woods has been very strong.

Lote is looking past it, I hope he can turn it around but I'm not sure he can. 2012 may be his last year with us, on the $$ he's on anyway.

God only knows what will happen in the second half. Tigers look rattled but are somehow still in it. Unless there's a massive lift in confidence, I think the Broncos will run away with it.

Would like to say that Moltzen is on 30 pts in NRL dreamteam at halftime, our highest scoring player. Must be doing something right
