First player to debut in 2012?

Is Begovich actually signed for 2012? I'm still bemused why he wasnt ahead of Groat 😕

I dont think so Ink… I think he is the best 1 prospect we have had since Hodgo, so I'd prefer to bring him through another year of 20's first. Maybe in the second half of the year?!

Surely it will be Blair? :laughing:
 
i'm out of my league in this thread - my depth of player knowledge is not as superior as yours. I hope we unearth a star in the making.
 
In the forwards i would put my money on Begovich, in the backs i'd say Marika Koroibete. He's got heaps of pace and they way he runs the ball back, he must have a heart the size of Phar Lap. Can't wait to see him first grade.

I reckon Begovich is a good bet, I reckon front row is the place where we are likely to have an opening.

John Grant is also a good chance.

Im thinking bench personally. If we got an injury it would effectively be a toss up between begovich and Fotuaika for the new bench spot created - Begovich would be no nonsense and brilliant sure, but this bloke has a spark.
 
Apart from the new recruits, possibly Begovich but if there isn't a bad run of injuries it could be a fair while before this happens.
