Junior was a great footballer who gave 100% every game, but to give him a gig heading up the this committee doesn’t fill me with confidence. He is a Mr nice guy type, I just think you need a ruthless hard man pulling the strings. Anyway time will tell and I really think they have Buckley’s of getting the show on the road before July and even that is long odds

Even the corner post would be a great replacement for Jennings.

Funny mate, funny.

Of course the points need to be removed. Its a completley different competition. It would be crazy to keep the points if you have a whole new draw.

I loved him as a footballer but I’ve heard him talk about his current business and try and promote its benefits in the education field and he is not someone who fills you with confidence as a leader.

I think they need to spend more money on a committee to check over what the other committee is thinking..who then can report to the decision committee which can determine which committee' proposal the games committee will introduce then get approval from the final committee..

Project Hermes can check on Project Apollo, Project Aphrodite on Hermes, Project Zeus review Project Aphrodite, Project Artemis analyse Project Zeus, et cetera.

I guess the rule we should apply to this is this : who would we feel if we as WT's supporters had won our 1st two games and then had the points stripped

No conflict of interest here ?! Not when the Pearse’s are involved.. This whole game is run by mugs..
How can a totally different Comp with two different conferences and one team not playing and shortened to half the season be classified the same as the postponed season .. am I missing something other than preferential treatment ! the NRL are an organisation that just keeps giving .. a book needs to be written about this mob the 101 how to destroy a sporting organisation ..

Again I ask Snake ...what choice do they have in regards to getting the comp up and running unless we base all teams at one place

You're missing his point happy. Teams like Canberra and Parra have played Titans, Warriors and Bulldogs in first 2 rounds. Hardly a tough start to pick up 4 points. Whereas the sharks have had to play the bunnies and the storm for 2 close losses. The only fair way for teams to keep their points from the first 2 rounds is to have a 13 week season whereby every team would have played each other once.

How is that any different to any year when teams don't play each other twice?

the big difference is we are talking about a comp where you can only accumulate points over 7 weeks if the proposed comp goes ahead, compared to a normal season of 24 rounds plus a bye. Canberra have already played the titans and warrior but will get to play them again in a 7 week comp, So in a combined 9 week comp they would have played 2 teams twice. Thats ridiculous.

Plenty of people here never won diddly and want people to listen to their opinion.

If it starts on May 28th which is what the NRL is looking at I doubt that it is going to be a 7 week comp!
