A few meter longs caught lately ,2 bust offs out of 3
40 braid , 60 nylon leader 2 no'6 hooks ,1 acting as a bait hold
i run with the 60 braid 100 nylon ,1 hook and just skull drag them in, no;6 bean sinker is what works here

Went for a fish this arvo guys, bagged out on Luderick in 2 hours, they are thick at the moment.
how is the fishing RH ,we be getting small but plump healthy bream in the river of late

Went off the beach Wed night for 5 bream, couple of good ones over 30cm.
Went the week before on a Tues and had a blinder off the rocks for 8 Luderick then switched rigs and fished the beach for 5 Bream and a Flathead.
Fishings been really good since March up here, freezer nicely stocked.
water is smelling sweet and doing as it should after a long time

Dark nights and run in tide will be here soon, good Bream conditions, really enjoy night fishing for them with just a pea sinker to the hook.
Love the solitude, just magic.
Mullet run is just now a poor excuse ,no rats this way for a few years , hopelly this winter ,

Lol old time fishing that still works, bought an Okuma bait runner few months back, using it with 2/0 circle hooks.
Two runs and wind hooks bream in the corner of the mouth 90% of the time avoiding gut hookups, more time in the water lol.

Haven't been out for 3 weeks guys but as you can see Luderick are still there, really good fishing at the moment.

Another great catch RHS. The wife and I have been in Europe for the last 2 months hence my lack of posting. Just before we left I had a bow mount Minn Kota installed on the Seafarer. I need to wire it up and finish a couple of things on the boat before I venture out. Shouldn't take me too long and I will be slamming it through Swansea bar.

Just take the bag of 10 and go home M, only thing is like today the fishing was finished in 1.5 hours lol.
It's just ridiculous at the moment, you could tie a rock to your line and clean up, no challenge.
