thats it tim sheens has officially lost it. How could you choose daniel fitzhenry over mitch brown, pritchard or daniela?
anyone else think its a stupid decison?
who should be on the wing?

I thought Pritchard should have been given the opportunity on the right wing this week. Let me ask you this. With both Taniela and Beau out, if Rhys Pritchard isn't getting a chance now then when will he???

yah, its pretty dumb, i mean is he hoping one of our backs get injured? fulton ellis and flanagan can cover centre or 5/8th if injury strikes the backs. its just a waste of a position, i dont care so much that fitzy is playing as i mentally prepared for this during the pre season, but to waste a bench spot with an outside back who will most likely see no more then 5 mins of game time is just plain dumb

its just dumb

i think it is extremely stupid..
for starters why would they go out and buy all those backs if they didnt need em all
putting fitzhenry on the wing is suicide i remember bak wen he use to play him there we were getting murdered
ye he would have a good game once every blue moon but that doesnt make up for all the bad ones
i would have loved to have seen pritchard, daniela or even hanbury there this week they are all extremely talented
not sure if sheens was watching the same game on monday night but fitzhenry made no impact when he came on the field..

Yeah, I remember when we got totally murdered with him on the wing when we won a comp.

Where does it say that Fitzhenry is on the wing?

it just showed the line-up on the footy show, fitzhenry on the wing and mitch brown is on the bench
pfft pathetic!

Fitzy will go alright. Safest hands ud ever find on a crab. He woulda scored the try Ryan butchered!

If we are going to carry a backline utility than, from the top 25, Brown offers the best coverage of multiple positions

Hmmmm, this smells so much like the Jason Moodie debacle from a few years ago.

He didn't learn then, and he wont learn now.

Fitzy would have to be the 7th best wing option, who just jumped 3 spots…...ridiculous.

:deadhorse:

I think that Brown will start on the wing and FItzhenry will cover that utility role coming off the bench.

This is Fitzy's time to secure the wing position and make it his own. He turned the match for WT last week as soon as he went out onto the field and will surely inspire the boys this week.
But as for Brown getting promoted…i can see how Sheens has selected him considering he never even touched the ball for 80mins last weekend.

I don't mind this selection at all. Playing on the wing is a position where Fitzy hasn't messed up and where he's scored the bulk of his tries. If it had have been any other position I would have scored screamed the joint down. Fitzy has been somewhat of a success in this position. Even though it might not be the best selection I think it's definitely the safest.

Couldn't agree more, this kid has stepped up to the plate and must be wondering what more he has to do to clinch a spot.
We will lose him and that would be a damn shame!

The chooks have a lot of quality kicking options, we need a player with some height and speed to cover Ryan. Like others I see brown actually starting and fitzy bench warming, although Brown isnt the best under the high ball either. One thing for certain they will be tested

I think you people should get over it.Did you really think Sheens was going to do the logical thing?
Fitzhenry knows the position well & brings a lot of experience.
My worry is who comes onto the bench. If its not going to be a forward (Gower) we might be in a lot of trouble

Mitch Brown and Geoff Daniela both trained with the Tigers yesterday, and coach Tim Sheens will decide between them who takes the wing spot from the suspended Beau Ryan. Forwards Chris Heighington and Liam Fulton were sore and sorry after the clash against the Sea Eagles on Monday night but both are expected to play the Roosters.
