Fitzy to Tigers - Cashmere looking to return to NRL

this is the best thread of all time just rang my mate to tell him that the Tigers may resign Ritzy and he spat his coffee everywhere abolutely priceless biggest laugh I've had all week..

if we sign fitzy it will be a disgrace at best he was an average winger and hopeless in every other position.totally unimpressed 😢 😢

An hour and a half later and my mate is still texting me and spewing about the fact I made him spit coffee everywhere thank you Wests Tigers Forum best fun I've had all week.. Funiest thing was his daughter walked over to him took her bib off and gave it to him after he did it..

im hearing ya! just say no to the FWO.

I think Cashemere after some time overseas could be a very good signing.

Ignoring the bias from both sides of most people lets look at this realistically

Fitzy wouldn't be coming back to a starting side/ top 25 - he'd be coming back to Wests - Now anyone who doesent think having a very experienced , highly professional utility back and forward to help guide some of the young blokes about and set a good example is a great thing for the club is crazy . No one is saying he should be starting in first grade but experience, professionalism and utility value and the ability to find the tryline are things any young player could and should learn and I for one would be glad to see Fitzy back at the club for those reasons

Wouldnt you ?

You know very well that Sheens would put him into firstgrade. That picture above is Daniel 'Donuts' Fitzhenry training in the Concord Oval carpark

No.

Me either,he is always a chance to play at 6 with the love Sheens has for him.

Cashmere would be good and not just as a depth signing. He would quickly be starting with Keith in the front row. He was easily the cowboys best foward in 2008, a foward pack which included Tronc, Scott and Webb.

I agree. He still has a lot to offer in my opinion. And he wouldn't cost big $.

This week's RLW magazine reports that the Tigers have offered Fitzy a 1 year deal.
