This week's RLW magazine reports that the Tigers have offered Fitzy a 1 year deal.

So he will be the replacement for Farah when he is off for SOO i guess??
If thats the case we are a joke 😕

Look I'm no Fitzy fan (I certainly didn't join the FWO!) but he's played a stack on NRL games so as short term replacements go it's not that bad. He's less inclined to run backwards or fall over or get hit in the head by bombs playing hooker.

The coaches favourite son…i was actually thinking The tigers were progressing how wrong i was! The DOUGHNUT is back.

If i was Beau Ryan, I would be looking for a new team unless he wants spend next season playing for the Magpies

I'd be very surprised if Fitzy gets picked ahead of Ryan.

If they offer him a contract with Balmain/Wests to could provide some back-up of the bench it would be okay. I'd have him off the bench over Hanbury

So would I….I just 😛ray: with all my heart Robbie doesn't go down...how's the back.....

Fitzy??….Fitzy who??....

I vaguely remember we used to have this nuffy playing for us by that name but surely after they managed to off-load him they wouldn't go backwards by re-signing him!!!

Ignoring the bias from both sides of most people lets look at this realistically

Fitzy wouldn't be coming back to a starting side/ top 25 - he'd be coming back to Wests - Now anyone who doesent think having a very experienced , highly professional utility back and forward to help guide some of the young blokes about and set a good example is a great thing for the club is crazy . No one is saying he should be starting in first grade but experience, professionalism and utility value and the ability to find the tryline are things any young player could and should learn and I for one would be glad to see Fitzy back at the club for those reasons

Wouldnt you ?

Completely agree. Stop the Fitzy bagging I say.

does this mean that the FWO baners/shirts will re-appear or bring back the fitz shirts will be printed.
.
seriously,if he can bring experience or be useful for the younger players coming through, then there is no harm having him there.

There is nothing i would hate more than to see Fitzhenry back in the club. Being an actual utility player is a lot different than just having the number 6 or 4 put on your back. I recently saw him playing hooker for his club in england and it was embarrassing to watch, the man can't pass with his left hand. With the amount of utility backs in the team at the moment, i have a feeling that a few of them will be playing for Balmain and Wests anyway.

Gee I dunno..some harsh comments on here. I'm sure the club would be paying peanuts for him, he is a good player on his day and I tend to think it is always a good thing signing a utility who can cover the amount of positions Fitzy can. We need about as much depth as we can get, look what happened to our side when we lost our fullback near the end of the year.

It really comes back to Sheens as per usual and how he uses him. Hopefully he is a gap filler and nothing more.

If he does come back, I hope its for Wests. I didn't see too much use for him when he was here and there are stronger players now. I would play Tuiaki, Ryan, Brown, Tupou and Daniela all in front of him. Tuquiri obviously too. There would have to be a massive injury toll to the outside backs for him to get a go in first grade again.
