Fitzy V Moodie

I've decided to create the topic we all want to know, fitzy v moodie….who had the better NRL return/comeback? When fitzy was announced last year as a signing many people predicted he would have the same result as moodie, im interested to see what people now think.

I personally think fitzy had a better return until he was placed in the halves, thats a no go. Im interested to see what others think, as there is a lot of fitzy doubters on this board. I use to be a fan, but find im slowly slipping towards to the bag fitzy crew the more games he plays.

Sorry mate but I can't see the point. Fitzy may not be the greatest contributor in the game but I'm not going to join the week in week out slag club. Both he and Moodie deserve respect if only for the fact they were able to make first grade, something which I would hazard a guess and say none of the people on this forum are/ were able to do including myself.

I would probably prefer he be replaced with someone else but if Sheens continues to pick him then I wish he would play him in a position he makes the best contribution in.

Don't have a bad word to say about Fitzy as he is clearly doing his very best.

He is not the one who makes the positional selections or the game plans

I dont have much of a problem with fitzy either, leave him on the wing and I wont be complaining. Unfortunately I feel that if sheens keeps playing him in the halves or even at fullback, we will start to remember fitzy for only poor memories. Sheens just needs to leave him on the wing.

I will say Moodie,he wasn't in the middle of the field stuffing up our attack, nor was he a coaching favourite that had a whole team reshuffle to accommadate him,I wish they both never came back,at least the Moodie thing is over, god knows how long this Fitzy nightmare will continue. 😢

How many Fitzy forums are we up to? I'm scared to do a search on his name for fear of melting down my PC. Could be a job for one of those super computers. Some of them are worthwhile and foster some decent debate and then we get to the shallow end of the pool…

Anyway I'm not sure there is any point to this debate but for what it's worth, Moodie mark I was better than the current Fitzy comeback but Moodie mark II was worse.

But why stop there? If Daniel Fitzhenry was a tree, what sort would he be?

I agree. they both have ability and have played first grade.
that in itself is an achievement.
Fitzy has been classed as a utlilty, and no doubt, thru no fault of himself, will be used in many positions this year.
it would be great if there were always specialist players available to fill in for injured players. 😛ray:
but at wests-tigers, this is not possible at the moment due to either injury, or lack of first grade experience, as it is a jump up from Toyota Cup or Jim beam Cup standards.

Mark Flanagan is classed as a utility, could he not fill some of these positions instead of sitting on the bench for 60mins of the game ! Fitzy hasn't been that bad, but not good either. I think the coach will stick with him though.

If Fitzy was a tree, he would be a Sycamore tree. Because nobody could make me fill sick more from seeing their halfback ability.

I see him more like the gum tree out the front of my house - always getting urinated on but it's not really his fault, he didn't choose to be put there in the first place.

I just don't understand how we've done it 3 times now. Skando, Moodie and now Fitzhenry. You would have thought they would have learned. I'm not against it as long as Fitzy comes on and takes scoots from dummy half to relieve pressure off Farah. He has to be on the bench though. He can't start.

i dont think skando deserves to be in the same basket as these two. He came back when we had like no forwards and sitll put in a damn good effort every game.

Agreed … I would not so much as mention Skando in the same sentence as the other two.

I view Moodies return as a failure and Daniel Fitzhenrys return as a friggin nightmare we get to relive every week.

Moodie without a doubt he only played a handful of games before getting the bullet but we all know fitzy will keep on disappointing us for the full season :deadhorse:

ok, who's updating this?
