Fitzy

Well done to Sheens for injecting Fitzy when he did, fresh legs were what was required. I thought Wade had a reasonable first hit out for us as well.

Well said

This is fitzys position

Its easy to Bag Fitzy.

He has been a steading influence on the yongsters in the team and I am glad to see him score a ripper to seal the win today.

PS - Did you see the love in the room by the rest of the team when he scored. By all acounts a very popular player in the squad.

…and the humble pie award goes to:

a) all of the above
b) all of the above
c) all of the above
d) a, b or c

Fitzy is a genuine footballer!

Two points to remember:
1.McKinnon was coming back from injury and played 65-70 minutes. Was safe and ran the ball back well.
2\. Fitzhenry was fresh legs when the teams were very tired.
Fitzy has been playing well over the last 4 games, and deserves to be part of the FG squad. Bring back FWO!! lol

McKinnon was very good. His positional play was unreal and he was awlays backing up. Unfortuantely our pack jsut wasnt good enough to get offloads and also Lawrence didnt look insdie when wade could of scored. Fitzhenry scored a good try and did some good little tihngs.

Id hardly say hes been a good signing, and I still dont no how he could be justified over Daniella, but he did good today and hopefully keeps it up.

He covers 1-5, 6,7 and 9 although wouldnt be a great 7 haha… Daniella only 1-5.

Everyone has bagged fitzy, including me, i eat a large slice of humble pie and take my WT cap off to him. Been invaluable the last few times hes played always giving 110% regardless of the situation. Critical i was of his return, but he swiped us for bagging him and he answered back with a great piece of individual brilliance... FWO 4 life  :sign:

yet come tuesday you will all be back crying he is on the bench.

I don't know - he was imo a lot better than McKinnon.

Mckinnon was coming back off a hammy injury wasn't he? He's probably not 100%

I did like his ball returns though, hard and fast.

Fitz actualy showed some speed! i didnt know he had. He is a better player since coming back from England.

LOL, he ran past harrison and shillington…then almost got run down by harrison

Well done to Fitzy he is proving a lot of people wrong including me but in saying that i would not have him in my 17

Yeah i know - But say a half went down and Daniella was there, im sure one of the backs like Ayshford coudl move into the halves. Like i said he did well yesterday, but ill never agree that he deserved his spot over others particularly Geoff Daniella.

I agree, like Fitzy or not he is contributing well the the team performance.
was nice to see him score and the big smile on his face, said it all.
this may be his last season of footy and he looks like he is really enjoying himself.

what worries me is he might start at fullback now next week… he needs to stay in the number 17 hes our utility player

:wahoo: Bravo Fitzy, what a great try ! You showed all the doubters that you are still a great player, and I hope you stay at our club, would love to see you as our permanent fullback :wahoo:

Ive never loved Fitzy, but he proved me wrong yesterday. He made a good impact off the bench, he will probably be there next week (I'm guessing hes there for Mckinnon who doesn't look to be match-fit).

He was good for the last 15 minutes yesterday, but would he have been good for 80,I doubt it,and that is the scenario,we don't need Fitzy keeping Fafita out of the team,a bench of Fafita,Moors,Flanagan and Dwyer is as good as any running around.
We also have Fulton back soon as well, there is no room for Fitzy in the 17,so he will be good cover for our wingers if one gets injured, but unless that happens,he will have to play for Wests.
