Flanagan claims Sharks robbed of NRL win

Flanagan has to worry how he could not beat a tiger team playing on one cylinder rather than a couple of bad calls. Iam afraid the sharks lack skill big time, they have plenty of guts but they are destined for another bottom eight finish

Hahaha…double movement every day of the week. Funny he didnt mention the sharks first try off a forward pass and the terrible decision to rob the tigers of a scrum feed early in the game after the ref ruled we took our advantage...we had them under the pump and it would have been 12 nil.

Spot on KS ,i was fuming he passed the on the line and the catcher got a metre past it ,
Who gives a stuff what the losing coach thinks , we played ordinary and got the two points . bring on Manly next week

Oh god, did someone in the press conference throw him a tissue. Quit your whinging sook.

Just shows what a egotistical dickhead steve clark is…..whats the point of him publicly going against his on field ref.
"Hey....look at me...over here, remember me?"

Its not just Flanagan but the Sharks fans too. Biggest bunch of whingers on Earth.
But being losers will do that to you I guess.

Buzz Rothfield is crying all over twitter. Be prepared for the beat up from him in the Tele tomorrow.

Lol that was textbook double movement.

Sharks are taking this loss badly and really complaining about losing 2 50/50's at the end, fact is we had just as many crucial decisions go against us, just happens those happened in the first 3/4 of the game. If sharks played well in the first half then things could've been different.

Try off a forward pass and taking our advantage callings were rubbish.

Telegraph tomorrow/tonight will remind us why our team decided to boycott them.

Disappointing the refs missed that forward pass for their first try. The Best decision was the right one, his motion had stopped and then he reached out with his arms to score.

Thought the refereeing was bad today but not for the sharks. Did we get a penalty in the second half? I sawe Utai hit high and no penalty, the sharks offside all second half and holding down our players and no penalties. As other have said it was a forward pass for their first try. I think Sheens should have had a whinge about the refereeing. It is more effective when the winning coach complains.

first off i will start by saying the tigers were bad but still won the sharks were as bad and lost in saying that the refing by maxwell and chris james was horrid as well maxwell loves the tiges. now onto the topic we now have brian smith s love child mr flanagan boo hoo shane this is nrl not juniors what a whinger this guy sooks even when they win he would not be happy with cindy crawford and elle in bed funny he didnt mention the foward passes in cronullas tries oh and galloway was not given benefiet of the doubt and cronulla won penalty count easy. nrls new mr sook flanagan. ithought groat bell humble ryan marshall fulton were our best the centres had shockers forwards went missing.but we won., :sign:

I just reminded that peanut you also can't score tries of forward passes. He's a massive douche.

Who cares what the video ref thought? The onfield officials were well placed to make the call. Nobody had their view obstructed, no need to ask Clark.

Was, is, will always be a double movement.

Penalty count was 4-7? I think they got 6 in a row at one point including some very kind strip calls on poor ball handling.

underdog so true rothfield wanted carney run out of nrl now hes the greatest and mr webster from the tele is always bashing tigers a closet dragon when you run out of toilet paper use the telegraph

Good to see Flanagan has been to the Des Hasler school of sulking.

Suck it up mate, you had some pretty ordinary calls go your way also… That's footy.

haha on foxsports news they just showed the backpage of tomorrows tele.
It says in big letters "RIPPED OFF" with a picture of colin best reaching out over the line.

He's out of his mind, he came to a dead stop and then reached out to ground the ball, it was a double movement.

As everyone else has said, yeah so just ignore the foward pass that led to your first try and the supposed advantage we got in the first half there that should have been a scrum near your line.

Mistakes from refs happen in games, yeah they make fans/players/coaches rage, you'd think you'd find something that was a little more 50/50 than some blatant double movement to rage about.

I'm still puzzled by this so called interaction between Steve Clark and Flanagan. In the SMH they asked (quite reasonably) if Clark approached Flanagan to tell him he would have awarded a try or if it was the other way around. Flanagan seemed to indicate it was neither but somehow he could tell (from two boxes away mind you) that Clark had come to the conclusion it was no try. Two boxes away!! They're either thin walls or the man has ESP.

Forget coaching, Stu Flanagan could write for Mystic Meg in the women's mags…

Oh and we were also treated to the opinions of one B. Harrigan who gave his two cents worth on the GP penalty even though by his own admission he hadn't seen the game.
