Isn't the Tigers logo some generic logo?

I've seen US high school football teams with our logo.


I think its pretty common - i know both Wingham Tigers and Comboyne Tigers have the same logo as us.

The Entrance Tigers on the Central Coast have the exact same logo also. I watched the 2005 GF at that club, it was the closest I could get to the Tigers on that night!

By whom? Why would we use someone else's logo for a new joint venture with $8M new NRL funding?
