@weststigers I live and work in Sydney, speak and deal with more rugby fans than rl fans. 90% were not happy with his comments all though I suspect some of those agree with the sentiments but didn’t agree with his delivery. The other 10% were religious and supported his comments or the least agreed and didn’t really want to get into the discussion.

Me, I think his comments and religion are weak. Go out create chaos, run a muck then when you have had enough or find yourself on your last legs come and repent and all will be ok, what a load of rubbish.

I have friends who are gay they didn’t just choose to be, sure some of them choose to be out there in the way they dress and act and I poke fun of that to their faces - not their homosexuality. Just like they poke fun at my appearance or the things I say and do.

I choose to go out drinking, don’t hurt anyone when I do, but according to religion I will be going to hell.

Oh wait unless repent. In which case I am forgiven for my sins and all is ok regardless of the devastation I may have left behind.

@TCL out of curiosity, why do you talk about things that you don't have any understanding of?

Just say you disagree with the guy's views and get on with it.

You've shown a total ignorance of the idea of sin and repentance, and even the Church's view on homosexuality, and saying it all in a mocking tone just makes you look even sillier.
 
Go do what God wants you to, be God's spokesperson.
If you're short of a quid Falou, become a preacher. Don't waste your talents on a football field, God has obviously blessed you with the gift of the gab.

Who really cares what Izzy says or said, he is only making a goose of himself. If I was in one of the minority group he has attacked, I would be having a chuckle to think howa bloke could be so thick.

Let him come back to the NRL, give the two bob hack jurnos something to attack rather than us. Also most of the NRL major backers are gambling companies and all they want is your money
 
@Abraham What makes you the authority on religion? How do you know someone else doesn't understand something, or is it just because you didn't like what they said? It comes across as superior, and so belittling.

It's precisely that sort of "holier than thou" attitude, that "I know and others don't and others are therefore wrong and ignorant" that makes it pointless to talk to these people, because they don't ever change.

Back to topic, Folau, is an idiot imo, but I don't really care about him, because if he does come back to NRL, it won't be to the Tigers.
 
@TigerTiger you're a flog. Some know-nothing talks crap and i'm the bad guy for asking him to understand what he's saying before embarrassing himself publicly?

I'm not an authority on any religious matter, and have never claimed to be. But the real authorities provide commentaries and explanations which makes these teachings crystal clear.

TCL wasn't even close to the money, and i simply pointed it out.
