Fonua

Fonua is an absolute beast in attack and defence - he just looks like he wants to run through everyone or destroy them in defence. Has to stay in the centres - we’ll have potential to break the game open on both sides of the field

Even my old man who has been following the game since the dinosaurs existed likes the way he plays. Nuff said!

The real beast at Wests Tigers. He'd run through a brick wall, love it!

Fonua is playing out of his skin at the moment.

He's one of those players that I always worry he's going to make a mistake though. Hope he keeps this form up! Prefer him at centre too.

You can see how much he wants it….

Defensively he was good in the centres made some clever decisions and big hits..keep him there

The bloke is a BEAST running the football..

Probably the wrong thread but if Fonua stays in centres please please please leave MWZ on the wing. He is safe and solid and we look a better defensive outfit when he is there.

I like MWZ under the high ball. He’s a good foil for Fonua in that sense. Mahe seems to have gotten better each week.

Any mullets or future mullets here??

Getting out the Fonua replica from someone is the crowd at L.O in this video. At the 2.28 minute mark.

whats the bet IVAN stays loyal to kev on his return?

I hope not, we looked far better with that line up on the left

In Ivan's press conference. He said something like. Fonua looks more at home in the centres. He seemed impressed.

Cheers, missed that, hope he follows through with the comment

Fonua certainly provided something we haven't had previously on that side, although I don't think Kev was playing badly this season, perhaps just not able to provide the sort of lift and go forward that Fonua is capable of. I hope Mahe can be consistent and works on his handling. The grubber kick through near our line looks a worry - especially if he has to bend down and collect a bouncing ball.

Does anyone else sense something is going on around Kev's non appearance last game?? He isn't injured I don't think - and Ivan seemed a little cagey!
