Food For Thought....

I thought I best start a new thread because it involves a lot of people within the club...
Firstly I need to say that many on the forum always seem to want to ridicule me because I mention a lot of times that I have played the game and have been coached by rep level coaches...fair enough if it irks you ,but at least listen to what I have to say in regard to our great game and how things work from within so that we all have a much clearer observation to make so as to have a positive input to the topic in question..
Many on here wanted Madge gone a few weeks ago because THEY THE FANS werent getting the results THEY WANTED..its not that easy...Madge has to get all the players recruited and sort out who plays where and who is best credentialed for that position...
Daine Laurie was a great pick up and he WILL be our fullback for seasons to come,he is young and still learning,Tamou was purchased for his leadership,not his playing prowess because Madge has targetted young more volatile players for the position but need experience beside them while they learn...
Same goes for JTJ and to a degree BJ,their experience is undeniable when right,Madge has also made changes that most members questioned and said he has finally lost the plot,AD to centres,Mbye to 5/8 and JTJ to wing...but how is our team looking since the changes...we are on a winning run...unheard of last year and earlier this year...
When i say I played,and its a different game now,I was moved all over the backline until coach was happy in playing me at the time inside centre,later I was played at outside centre and then wing...my point is the coach determines what the best formula and winning combination is best for the team...we are now JUST STARTING to get the results we need albeit some more work needs to be done...
Having T.Sheens back in the fold and easing the work load off Madge so he can concentrate on delivering a competative and finals bound team is first and utmost,congratulations to the club for having the foresight to employ him again....

yeah all good mate....sometimes I get frustrated with footy and other things in my life...have to learn not to openly vent at times,others have things happening in their lives as well...its not just about me...

But I find it interesting you think it's OK to comment in here, trying to put me on blast with some outlandish accusation.

The bullying, personal attacks and vilification by certain people on here, towards myself and others is pretty evident. I did browse over some old threads and I did notice it has been an on going thing since I joined in 2011.

There wasn't really a need to "hijack" this thread by pulling me up with something, especially when the thread has ran its course and TrueTiger and myself have already had a private chat to clear up a miscommunication.

Geo, it's 2021... we're all adults.
It might be time to be more welcoming and inclusive to people around you.

I've been here 10 years now and despite some issues along the way, have shown I'm here to stay.
So if you have nothing nice to say take it to the DMs.

I doubt anyone else wants to see you trying to belittle me and accuse me of some thing that isn't even realistic nor fair.

We're all impatient, you need to understand the younger generation these days generally have no patience in this age of instant everything.

Hahaha I ran water for my sons u/15s team.... Every time they had a try scored against them. I had to relay the coaches instructions to them. In the ingoal while the conversion was taken.
Telling thirteen teenagers what theyre doing wrong and need to be doing....😳... Advanced physics at uni would be easier I reckon

I've been mindful since being back because I saw the complaints re: I post too much and hijack threads and whatever else, so I'm trying to be a better poster and member of this community.

But you are still doing the same thing you did 10 years ago? Try and hurt people's feelings or what, make them feel uncomfortable? Like I said I don't even know what you're trying to achieve.

I've made other posts about football you coulda quoted and like, provided some "food for thought" or discussion but you chose to revive this thread that I closed the door, privately discussed with the original poster as some context needed to be clarified.

I understand what you are telling me Ink.I have never had a bad word to you or get upset when you are telling me something,I do appreciate the adult way you explain my faults...having said that,I just wanted to let people know who are adament that Madge,Mbye and others out of THEIR favour ,need to realise that the things Madge is trying to get right for the club takes hard work,patience and a lot of the time pain...I have never been about big noting myself but more so passing on knowledge and experience to the people of the forum may not have experienced so that it may clarify things more to them...never meant to grandstand or be bigger than anyone else on here and you should know me also and my personality...cheers mate...
