Food thread

Thanks Demps for reup this (is that what you say, Reup?)
I was just wondering if there was a particular food/dish that members have at least once a week that they have been eating most if their lives, like a tradition.
My weakness is a Sunday roast, preferably lamb with gravy, roast spuds and pumkin. Fresh peas with mint jelly. Yum Yum 😋

The roasts are great Cobar,but I really like making curried snags with mash potatoe peas,carrots and corn fresh dinner rolls from the bakery...and a glass of sav blanc to wash them down with....yummooooooo....

PS...tonight my brother and I have a chinese lady visiting from Sydney,she used to be his accountant when he was the Company sec at his work...
she is making us traditional chinese satay pork and noodles....cant wait...

Even though it hasn't rained for a couple of days here the Macquarie river is still close to breaking the bank though Bathurst.
The people down stream from Cowra are going to be in a bit of trouble as Whyangla dam is overflowing.
The local news said they were releasing 25 Megalitres a day.
