Has the footy break made anyone reassess their following of the west tigers? We hearing the footy is coming back but we haven’t made the finals since 2011 and no signs of change. So it’s great footy is back But really is it all that exciting when we likely to miss finals again And the prospect of another disappointing season, season after season? Is it time to accept we are going nowhere as a franchise?

"going nowhere as a franchise?" @tony-soprano.
No way Jose do I agree with that.
We are just starting to build towards being a top 4 side in the next couple of years, with a bit of luck going Our way.
And besides....Madge has a plan !!!!!!! (sorry about that).

My sister came over on the afternoon of the knights game, so I didn't watch it live and having known the result from here, haven't been able to bring myself to watch it as yet. Nofo probably wasn't as bad as it was portrayed, as he would have to star to get a pass from some, but was very concerned about the reports on Leilua/s next to him, which certainly dampened my spirits.

My first post was tongue in cheek. You’re right! The Newcastle game really got to me. I really thought that level of ineptitude was behind us. But no

They pretty much scored every time they put a bomb up for some reason, Think they need to change Leilua bro’s on the same side at the least.

I've come to accept that were just an also ran club. I just don't see real change.
But it hasnt effected my enthusiasm. Its like golf, one good hole brings you back for more.

I hear you Tony, I feel a little unenthusiastic about it also. I was getting my hopes up that this could be the beginning of change, where Greenburg was going to go, maybe even the NRL also but not rugby league. A chance for a fresh start, where the favoured clubs and players don't get off on light sentences, where every team gets a fair go. With Latrell and Addo-Carr, and now Cleary all getting off, it seems not to be, just yet anyway.

I am hoping for big things, but that Knights loss was disgusting, same old rubbish performance same old habits. I don't know how we fix our team, just about all of our backs I think we need to upgrade. Jury is out on new recruits BJ and Doueihi (got to give them a chance, haven't seen much of them yet), but the rest wouldn't make first grade in the top teams and that's really the bench mark. Benji is great, I'm not dissing him, but he must find it hard when all he has in support is a few second rowers who hit holes.

The release of the new draw will be a chance for the NRL to start to turn things around. Some fairness and equality in who teams play twice will be a big deal. I'm more curious as to who Roosters play twice than us to tell the truth, I wonder what the odds are of Roosters playing anyone twice from last year's Top 5 (4 teams other than themselves) are?

What do the Wests Tigers and the coronavirus have in common?
Both affect a lot of people mentally and physically and it takes a minimum of 2 weeks to recover from.

Well said mate. A "hit the nail on the head" post.
We are perennial also-rans. Not much realistic hope of that changing anytime soon. Couldn't really care less whether the footy came back this year or not, personal interest level has dropped off remarkably in the last 3 or 4 years due to the way the game was being run.
Judging from yesterday's decision nothing has changed there at all either. Very disappointing and deflating.
Will still watch and support WT as long as we are playing though. Pathetic performances like the Newcastle one are hard to take, however I just turn the TV off now instead of enduring that rubbish until full-time. Much easier on the blood pressure!

i threw my phone halfway across the room in the parramatta game

the sharks game round 25.is a game i do not want to talk about @hobbo1 can testify for my meltdown

Its moments like e.g. our GP win against Cows, and Cheekams match winners are why i come back
