For and against ..... the tigers

I believe the comp should be divided into 2 divisions based on previous years results example:

Division 1: 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15
Division 2: 2,4,6,8,10,13,14,16

Top 3 teams from each division go through to the finals the the 2 next best records in the comp fill the 7th and 8th spots u play each team in ur division twice and each team in the other division once. Tie breaker goes head to head if that's a tie the tries for if that's ties then tries against to determine the tie breaker

If we don't get a decent semi spot, it won't be because we lost to Melbourne, Saints and Brisbane… It'll be because we lost to the Gold Coast, Rorters, Parra and the Bullfrogs (twice).

Problem is you can end up with big rivalry games only happening once. Broncos vs Cowboys, Roosters vs Rabbitohs, Sharks vs Dragons etc, you want all these games happening twice a year, leaving it up to chance like this isn't the best idea.

The big rivalries would be better afforded by two conferences, especially when you list the local derbies.

If you base them in Sydney and Non-Sydney it would work, but it then drastically favours Sydney teams (they will only have to leave Sydney for 4 away games, compared to other teams who will have months on the road). Also then you get uneven conferences in terms of quality. Plus conferences can be more confusing for the average fan, compared to a straight top 8 system.

Is interesting when you compare results against current top 8 sides, WT are now 6 - 3 …Dragons 5 - 3, Melbourne 5 - 2 and Warriors 2 - 6

Shows how poorly we do go sometimes against some of the sides below us.
