I was watching the NSW cup today and watched brett finch push the sharks around the park, he would be a great pick up.He would aslo be great for brooks and moses to learn off.
also trent hodkinson has been great with the dogs and is a great goal kicker, please invest in one of these

I watched Brooks today and he has plenty of potential and is good at pushing a team around although he is still very young. Also impressed with Groat , Akoula and Big T and a special mention to Jarrod farlow who really put in massive effort.

Agree, why would you leave a club thats going to struggle for the next couple of years? It will be easier in about 4-5 years when the WT are back as a force, but until then, were are the same as Penrith, Warriors and the Eels. They all have alot of money, we don't. We need a good 1/2, and pick up M.Weyhman or someone like that for the front row. Both should be high on the list of things need fixing. (also dump Royce and get a decent defensive coach, our defence is like Swisse Cheese). :deadhorse:

Why do we need a halfback if we have Anasta for the short term? Anasta will leave us in 2015 and Benji will leave us in 2016\. Brooks will come into the side in 2015.

And what happens if they fail? I saw someone saying in the DCE thread that a drawback from signing DCE would be Brooks. What a crock, if by some chance we could get him here, you wouldn't turn down DCE, a premiership winning halfback at the expense of an 18 yr old kid who hasn't played first grade. Doesn't matter how much potential he has, that would just be the definition of stupidity.

Interesting evaluations people make… Brookes could be , might be ect ect ,Moses seems playing with under 20' s is hurt a lot of the time, if this club signed DCE you would not get the smile of my face for 6 months what that guy did on Monday night defensively was amazing .Maybe Brooke's , Moses will make the grade but expieriance tells me that could be a long shot!

God I'd love to sign Kieren Foran. Doesn't have the flair of DCE but I reckon he would be a huge anchor to build a side around. Rate him very highly.

At present our forwards look like a park team,plenty of effort but totally ineffective. So yes we need a no7 to drive them around the field. Although the question has to be asked, will any no7 be allowed to play a traditional no7 role while we have our present no9 and no6 .

I really think we wait and see how Brooks pans out, he will get a run before the end of season and will be our starting no7 come 2014\. Any available cash has to be directed at proven NRL standard first grade forwards. A player like Plum would be great.
