Forum error message

Why can only certain users post in certain threads?
Why are some threads restricted and i dont mean the lounge ones?

I don’t know why everyone is bitching, it’s only slightly less unusable/annoying than it usually is.

It's just incase something is going wrong, for the guys running the forum to be aware of is all. I'm not tech savvy at all, it works fine but I don't know if everything is normal or there's a prob they're not aware of. They all do a top job of looking after the forum for us all.
