Forum members get together 2017...

I hate to nag you guys….even though I love yah all ....but I would like you to have a really good think about the get together because I hate organising something and end up on my own,or like last year when Bathurst tiger turned up with his son,they came all the way down to enjoy every bodies company and a game of footy.....pretty disappointing as I have to take the weekend off and travel to Campbo to set things up..if you guys don't want to meet that's fine just tell me it is a dumb idea and I won't continue on with it..saves a hell of a lot of trouble all round. .,cheers...
 
I think a lot have shown interest True Tiger…The Round 2 1st home hame at Campbelltown looks a good place to start as it is a Sunday Day Game which should be easy to get too for most..

I have stickyed the Thread so it's easy to find...
 
I'll put in my leave request now but won't know for a week or two. If I can get the time off, I'll definitely come.

Thank you GEO for your help….your suggested game looks to be a really good choice as we can have a meet and greet,lunch then over to the stadium for the game...I will contact the WTs to see if a player can come over for a Q&A,hopefully they won't be full of promises like before and we can have one of the boys attend. ...cheers mate..
 
Well guys I'm off to MOOLOOABAH next week and will be organising a catch up with palms one of our forum members,if anyone else lives in the area pm me and we can all meet for a beer..

you are all most welcome here, camp all over the place and will be doing me a big favour if you put all my snobby, whinging and sticky-beaking neighbours in their place. Make it a day when the local footie derby is on. But warning all your wives be cut-throating over all the hot stuff walking down the street.

Looks like I'll be doing the Rd 10 game on Friday May 19th

Usually try and tickets in the old Frank Burke stand up on the top tier , usually get something pretty close to halfway and the view of the game is amazing

TT will try and organise a Qld get together next year ….somewhere that would be easiest for all to gather at....I completely understand the difficulty in getting to places because of distance...It doesn't have to be at a game per say,but somewhere to get a feed and drink and watch a Tigers game...can you make sure theres an airport close by so TT doesn't have to hire a car...start thinking Qlders,TT is on his way..

PS...TT is in Mooloolabah next week and is hoping to catch up with Palms,hopefully theres plenty of cold beer up there,next on to Wattos famous anyway.restaurant at Maroochydore..I will evaluate what sort of a good time I had up there and let you know..I completely understand that the Qlders are a bit slower than their NSW brothers and sisters,but I reckon we will have a good time anyway... :roll

Yes mate we will go with that game ,it seems to suit everyone and it will be great to catch up with previous members and meeting new ones…
