As i see it the front row will be - bigred, robbie, woods

backrow wil be - ellis , blair

and lock - heigo

that leaves groat and bell for the front row , and fulton and Bmm for the backrow cant see any other players to step up if we get injuries. After the way flanagan finished the season it would have nice to keep him.

does any one else have any other backrows who they think will step up in 2012\. :roll

In Rugby League Week there is an article about Joel Reddy. He says he has put on 5kg (now weighing in at 100kg) as Sheens said there's a good chance of him being in the back row.

So my tip is we will be seeing him coming on from the bench as a replacement 2nd row/ lock.

blair to play prop because fulton, ellis and heighington should be in the starting side

begovich might see some game time in firstgrade aswell if we get some injuries to our props

the only problem is blair, ellis, fulton and heighington play alot of mins and dont really have much of a break. so if blair starts in the 2nd row heighington or fulton will be on the interchange and wont get much game time. i think they are too good to waste like that. maybe some people dont rate fulton or heighington highly but i certainly do and think they should be out on the field for most of the match. if woods starts on the interchange he will still get atleast half the game on the field. he can come on for keefy

Sheens has already said he wants Blair playing tight not wide. That indicates lock or front row to me. I see our strongest forward pack as:

13: Heighno
12: Ellis
11: Fulton
10: Galloway
9: Farah
8: Blair

17: Woods
16: Groat
15: BMM

Neil Begovich and Jay Masueli from the U20s have been very impressive from what I've seen of them this year. Would not be surprised to see Sheen's bring one of them through the same as he did with Groat this year.

Isn't it good to see all of these younger players coming on. It seems the Club is at last making the most of the local juniors and making a good fist of cherry-picking some good young players from elsewhere.
Congratulations to the recruitment people, whoever they are.

Heighington's efficiency has been very less and it can be seen that whenever he was replaced by Flanagan and then when he came back on after a 20-25 minute break, he was really good. I think Heighno should play off the bench with Fulton as a ball playing lock.

Sounds like the Danny Gelea thing all over again, surely Aysford would be the first of the backs you would throw into the pigs.

Warriors star-studded prop rotation of Packer, Rapira, Matulino and Lillyman will see promising young prop James Gavet, NSW Cup TOTY, released from current Warriors contract.

He is rumoured to be sought after by no less than 4 other NRL clubs - WT, Manley, Parra and Canterbury. Tigers are the front runner to win that race to bolster propping stocks in 2012.

Negotiations still underway.
