I think Sue is better playing in the middle of the field so I would not play him at second row. Pop or lock IMO.

I am hoping Sirro has a break through year in 2016 as second row appears to be our weakest position. Hopefully one of the QLD boys provides a solution.

Farah is a 80 minutes player so no need to carry another hooker on the bench.
 
It's going to be a better pack than last year , but I would make room for The young back up hooker , he made a difference last year with his lively attack

I'd like to see the Ipwitch boys prove themselves in NSW cup before getting their shot in first grade.

As for Farah playing 80 mins, very rarely do hookers play 80 mins these days. The majority of teams carry bench hookers. That could change with the reduced interchange, but then again might not.
 
I'm just hoping the thought process might be to make Edwards Brooks protector so to speak

Edwards irons a few blokes out and they might start to try and avoid running at Brooks all the time

Why should the Ipswich boys need to prove themselves in NSW Cup when they've already excelled in the QLD Cup comp, widely regarded to be stronger than the NSW Cup.

I feel they don't need to prove themselves at that level, as much as prove themselves at training and in the trials that they can match or beat experienced NRL players such as Buchanan. This along with forming combination with the rest of the NRL squad is what they need to focus on.
 
Is time for Sironen to show more than "potential". If he does not step up in defence & workload, there are other options there to fill his position.

I think some on here could be surprised at how well the Ipswich boys can perform,my research shows that Griffin has played tests for PNG and can play lock and second row,he is a hard running defensive player that will be a very good addition to the squad…time will tell...
McConnachie is a machine who is devastating in attack and can offload,tackles pretty well also....
Footnote..Griffin won best and fairest in 2015 for the Jets,I would say in my opinion a very astute buy especially being a rep player for PNG...
 
Would like to see Siro and Rowdy start.
If they don't work out after a few games, if the replacements deserve a shot, then make a switch.

Don't think outside NRL form warrants a spot first up. Big difference in class.

Not convinced Ava can be a starting Prop and I believe you need an extra DH, but good to see something different that could also work.

There is a big difference…...
between NRL and State cups,however,given a chance the two Ipswich boys are very talented and would not have been recruited just to make up the numbers,personally I can't wait to see how they perform in the trials,they will be keen to prove themselves and yes Rowdy is a must in the second row this year but Sirro has to really perform well this year consistently to warrant selection week in and week out,Griffin won the best and fairest award at the Jets last year and has played tests for PNG,he's no mug and can play the game,McConnachie is a dead set goer and plays hard,I hope they take full advantage of their opportunity at NRL level if the get selected,they are fine additions to our squad....

I'm in agreeance with this.

I also think Sue will be starting #13 but stil play some front row throughout the game as interchanges are made. Consider him Taupau 2.0 but a loyal soldier and not a show boating egomaniac.

Sue, Edwards and Sironen (if necessary due to fatigue) to cover lock rotation. I think it would be better to keep Sironen on an edge though, that's where his short passing game is going to do the most damage linking inside or outside.

I don't think Sue suits being on the edge and Edwards does not have a passing or running game to provide much threat on the edge.

Chee Kam to give Sironen a rest in the second row and provide cover for the backs.

Cherrington to replace Farah and up the tempo in attack.
