What about young corbin sims looked allright on the T.V. the other night and hes off contract. Also weyman from the dragons has good go forward.

We need to sign a prop forward for this year with Woods missing for SOO and Buchanan needing a rest.

Galloway on long term injury list.

Happy with Weymans or Sims.

Would have like Martin Kennedy but that rumour appears to have died.

Very ha to attract quality players to a team on or their about the bottom of the table. You end up having to pay massive overs. I think you will find we will have to try and fix the problem from within, and if nothing else, this year has given a lot of kids some very valuable experience and they should be better for the run in 2014.
Prop keeps getting mentioned as a area we need to focus on for 2014, yes a top notch quality player would be great but add Galloway,Groat and Gavet to our stocks and thin gs dont look so gloomy

Yeh I heard Milky Weyman on radio the other day say he's off contract this year…

....getting on and has a history of injury = perfect.
Serious.

Didnt the board come out and say they were no longer interested in signing players over 30 (a legacy of the Sheens recruitment policy)–than the first player the buy for 2014 is big Pat. I think Mick Weyman would be far to high profile for us more likely a George Rose type player, half the price and half the ability

Does the shortage of forwards on the market make Blair an attractive purchase for another club. Put him for sale you never know the old demand and supply theory might get us lucky. This club has only gone backwards with his prescence.

You have to be realistic. There is no demand for a player who can't or won't play. It looks like he signed with Wests Tigers Superannuation Pty. Ltd.

what WT should have done is a deal with Hull..take Miller and Blair ..

David Tyrrell from Souths is off contract at the end of the year. He is still relatively young, isn't too small and is aggressive and really rips in. I watched him closely last year and this year too and even though he really impressed me last year with his workload and defence, he has improved his game this year. He is making more metres and having a much larger impact. He wouldn't be too expensive as well so could be a handy buy for us.

Tyrrell is just a slightly bigger version of Fulton

Don't get me wrong ,I like him as a player as I do Fulton but we don't need two players of that style at the club

If only Mick Crocker was a few years younger ,thats the mongrel we need at the club

PS He is off contract at the end of the season as well

sorry crocker resigned with souths two weeks ago.

Wen looking at players from rival clubs you have to take into account the quality of the players they are presently playing with. Often players can look very good because they are surrounded by quality players, take them out of that environment and put them into a team that is doing it tough and they often go belly up.

On Weyman, very similar to Galloway, spends a large chunk of each season in rehab, being a rip and tear style player his body is now starting to show wear and tear

Exactly can you give that advice to Warren Mcdonell. Prime example Blair a great team made a very mediocre player look fantastic. Blair has well and truly been exposed at Wests Tigers….. Why why why???
