That' a good thing.BA and Madge are twins….in their coaching style…
How many Pacific Islanders are playing for Leeds??..not many I’d say
There’s the difference
Who are these coaches that took time away and came back with success?
Be interested to compare that too the success coaches with lower grade apprenticeships and then sustained success go. My guess is on balance they do better.
Which is why they shouldn't be on top 30 contracts!!! Our backline is full now, and it's by far the worst in the comp. Herbert, Tupou, Taotua, Tavana are all not first grade standard. Turuva would be a backup player.
That leaves us with only May, Averillo and Makasini as first grade standard outside backs and a whole heap of emergency backups.
We somehow need to find a first grade winger, someone tall and fast to go with Makasini on the left wing. Possibly Bula if he can find some pace from somewhere.
He is cooked with injuries, shouldn't be playing much like half of our squad sadly who are busted. Also Kade7 hate to burst your bubble mate but Benji ain't going anywhere, he is here till 2030 when unless a miracle happens the NRL dissolves the club.Bloody Bula, how frustrating he is. He definitely is very fast. When Weekes got away against Canberra I said to my mate "Bula will catch him easy" and he did. Missed the tackle, but pace wise he is very fast. Then last week he gets on the outside of Suli about 5 times and Suli gets him every time. Maybe his initial excelleration is poor and thats why he looks like he could break through but never does.
Again we just put kids into top 30 that are nowhere near first grade ready. We need first grade standard players now with experience and some leadership. We do this every year 🤦♂️phoenix and max both into the top 30, absolute min contracts
aware we are sniffing around kurt mann, but i had also heard that a while back, thing that doesnt happen due to the brailey signing
schuester impressing club officials, believe he will be on a t&t nextyear

Whoever the coach is in 2028 stands a fighting chance of success that season. The one and only year we have a genuine home ground advantage for most of the season (Leichhardt). Next year is going to be horrendous.it’ll be Brad Arthur, he will win the super league this year, and when Benji is sacked mid 2027, he will be announced as coach for 2028
No room, we are happy with Turuva, Tupou and Tavana.Sloan might be trying to get out of his 2027 Super League deal … unfortunately he has way too much speed for us to be interested in him ..
Speed not only in attack but also defence. No room, we are happy with Turuva, Tupou and Tavana.
Our opponents will be terrified of all 3.
Makasini is our only contracted winger for 2027 that I can see genuinely striking a bit of fear into our opponents.
Khan-Pereira who had scored a try per game at a struggling club was available this time last season, we were not interested.
Sloan who clearly has speed and x-factor that we desperately need was available for quite a few months this season before deciding to sign for a UK Super League club due to lack of interest from NRL clubs.
Good recruitment opportunities regularly pop up, but we clearly do not understand we are badly lacking speed and x-factor across the park.

It took a fair bit of time after the Titans dropped him back to Qld Cup and it was well know they were looking to offload him, before the Warriors showed any interest in him.Why would Khan Peieria have come here when he had an offer to go to a premiership contender?
Would we need to have paid him massive overs?
I would suggest Rd 8 is his time to have shown change and get results. The last half of this season has been diabolical and coach and staff have too much failure in this result. New support staff (not yes men), a tactician, and new attitude.Benji gone by round 8…??….even if he has a better than 50% record after 8 rounds…?.?….interesting and why would they do it?
If they want him gone why wait till round 8, sack him at years end……

It’s yet another case of “If you snooze, you lose”
As I have been saying for ages, that is our biggest problem, way above anything else.He signed a week into the offseason … he wasn’t on the shelf that long
We also didn’t have any money to sign anyone according to Richo at the time
As I have been saying for ages, that is our biggest problem, way above anything else.
We made out that the lure of playing with Luai was attracting players. I am not saying it didn’t have some appeal particularly to players within his circle, but we overpaid them to get them to sign with us and the end result is in unbalanced playing roster with terrible depth once we get injuries.
While but us woukd have paid 450k for Turuva and who knows what we have agreed to pay him for his recent contract extension, it certainly wouldn’t be less than the 450k we were paying him previously.
I bet Khan-Pereira is not getting even close to 450k and I’m sure Sloan would have been very keen to stay in the NRL for far less than 450k also.
So we are now drastically overpaying Bula, Terrell, Turuva and then we wonder why we have no cap money left to recruit some players with genuine x-factor.
I reckon Benji had a theory of keeping these players with us at any cost knowing they were all fan favourites and it is now starting to backfire on him before their new contract periods even commence.
Injuries started to slude, but injuries are more than likely going to happen every season. We can speculate all we want … I suspect AKP is on $450 a year minimum … you aren’t moving to NZ for three years on chump change ..he is one of the quickest players in the comp , and a lot of other teams value that
I suggested Sloan the last time he was on the market and I tell ya 90 percent of people thought it was the worst idea they ever heard .
Turuva is playing shit now … but the whole team is … even players you like eg AD …I have no idea to explain such a wide spread malaise compared with the early season form … it’s pretty unprecedented
Sloan has speed, but that’s about it. He certainly hasn’t set the world on fire with Saints who are happy to get rid of him. He would just be another defensively weak winger if were to play with us.Sloan might be trying to get out of his 2027 Super League deal … unfortunately he has way too much speed for us to be interested in him ..
